Angelina Love Returning to TNA

In an interview with the Chicago Sun Times, Angelina Love says "The Beautiful People" will soon reunite in TNA.

Here is a passage regarding this from the article: "Oh, absolutely," Love said. "Don't believe everything you hear, and don’t believe everything you read." Unless, of course, it’s in Quick Hits. "We'll definitely get on that train again," Love said. Any idea when? "It'll be soon," she said. "That's all I can say — soon." Love still stays in shape, and her former partner is active as a TNA Knockout. "Of course," Love said. "I’ve got a little bit more time, but I definitely, whenever you make a comeback or whatever — for people who haven’t seen you in a long time — you don’t want to come back looking worse. You definitely want to come back looking bangin' so ..."

It looks like Angelina Love could make a return to the Impact Zone. I really don't know how she can if she has visa issues. Maybe the issues have been worked out, or maybe there were no issues at all. Love could of been on a temporary hiatus from TNA, but it's unclear. If it is true that Angelina is coming back I'm excited. You have to wonder though what will they do with her?

Will Angelina join her rightful place beside Velvet and The Beautiful People, or will she feud against them? Does anyone feel Angelina has a place in TNA or does TNA need her at all?

I hope she comes back and boots Lacey out, then reprimands both Sky and Rayne for even considering a "replacement" for her, especially one as [insert numerous negative adjective's here] as Lacey Von Erich. It'll give Von Erich a decent feud with Love over "control" of TBP. Then TNA can have Lacey lose at a PPV and send her off to work on her ring-work.

Works for me. :)

Love coming back to TNA to be involved in the Beautiful People sounds like a fair assessment as long as she is replacing Lacey von Erich as the third wrestler of the group. I don't mind keeping Lacey in there with Love in the mix and use her as the valet of sorts for the group and interfere by wacking people with her ugly stick, and something to look at if you're interested. If she does come back, the best place to put her is with the BP again, but storyline will dictate otherwise as Velvet and Rayne have seemingly cast off Love from the group (although it was later revealed to be a trap just to attack SariTaylor).

As for whether Love needs TNA or TNA needs Love, I'm going to say Love needs TNA. She is a good wrestler who does deserve to be in the mainstream system, but the rosters in the KO's are stacked enough to last without her and move on. For nostalgia and namesake reasons, TNA would need Love to rejoin the BP and get people paying attention to them.

I can see Love coming back to TNA to join with the BP, but if she comes back to feud with them... I don't see what they could do to keep Love as a face after her stint in the BP with practically everyone in the audience booing the crap out of you.

Well this is definately good news for the Knockout Division if it actually happens. She's a solid worker (in terms of the knockouts) and can get decent heat. Plus, she's pretty entertaining most of the time. The Beautiful People need her if they want to be near the Knockouts title, since none of the current girls are anywhere near good enough to get a shot.

As for who she'll replace in the beautiful people, everyone is saying it'll be Lacey. That seems the most likely outcome. But personally, I'd rather see Madison Rayne go. Lacey is much hotter than Madison, and is the best "eye candy" for the group. Madison can get kicked out, turn face and have a singles career, since I'm guessing that's what they'll do with whoever's kicked out and Lacey hasn't been around long enough to kick out of the group.

I don't want her to come back (there's an entire thread on my thoughts)...If she does, I'm sure it will involve the Beautiful People in some way, but we'll have to see how.

Either she'll come back and just jump right back in, and we'll have a foursome, or she'll come back and Velvet and Madison will say they don't need her, and she'll be a face.

Both of these situations suck. For her to fit in with the division right now, she'd have to resume her role as the leader of the stable, and realize that she's no longer the only thing going on. The best thing about a return would be Lacey eventually leaving TNA.

Great news for TNA. TBP needs a leader and are floundering without her. As long as she and Sky are together, it really doesn't matter who gets kicked out. Madison sucks; not as bad as Lacey, but she is no quality performer. So if either Lacey or Madison get bumped, oh well. Personally, for the gimmick, I think that Lacey should stay as sidekick.

Will Angelina join her rightful place beside Velvet and The Beautiful People, or will she feud against them? Does anyone feel Angelina has a place in TNA or does TNA need her at all?

Yes, Angelina needs to come back! The Beautiful People is not the same without her and neither is the rest of the Knockout division. I think that when she comes back she should come back as a face since so many fans miss her. She can show up, act all friendly with her former partners but then turn face by attacking them for replacing her with Lacey. It would be a great face turn. She was awesome as a heel champion but seeing her as a face champion could be fun too.... and who wouldn't want to see her feuding with Lacey, Madison, and Velvet, all one after another? I'll be glad when she comes back even if she just re-joins the Beautiful People though.

This is good news and I hope that it's true. If or when she returns, she should rejoin The Beautiful People and make them a 4 Horseman-like stable, which I don't think has been done with women wrestlers.

I think the best scenario for her return would be at a PPV title match between TBP and Sarita/Wilde. They could hype it as TBP last shot at the tag titles. Love makes a run-in, causing TBP to win the titles. Then have the tag titles defended using the 'Freebird Rule' between Love, Velvet and Madison, which helps to not only draw heat with the fans, but it keeps Lacey out of the ring, while she continues her training.

TNA is just not the same without her. The Beautiful People are not the same without her.

Velvet totally reminds me of Arn Anderson in WCW in 92. Sure he was great, one of the best. But without the leader around, it's just sort of weird. Madison is sooooo Bobby Eaton too. Lacey is Paul Roma.

If Angelina comes back to TNA obviously she will be a face, which I'm not so sure I like. I like her as the leader of the Beautiful People and the bitchy, snotty, sexy, I'm better then you character. If she comes back, she'll obviously try to go back to the BP and they will turn her down.

OR

She will return, and they will turn her down at first, and then welcome her back in. Then the BP will be a four person stable for a few weeks until they kick Lacey out and run her in a feud against them, or kick Lacey out and Lacey just goes away.

Either way, I'm not sure how Angelina would fit in right now. The division has gotten so much more talent lately, and she would not be as near the top as she once was. She's a very entertaining wrestler, and I'm sure TNA would welcome her back so long as her issues were all worked out, but just as everyone else says, how will she be worked into the current division/overall big picture?

It looks like we are going to find out tonight, now that Angelina has signed with TNA again. I would have to guess that she will rejoin the beautiful people and kickout Lacy. Lacy doesnt seem like she can pull off a heel character. I guess TNA would keep her as a mid card face or escort for someone. I dont see how they can keep Lacy in the B.P.... unless they continue to use her as the dumb one. But the faction would be too big. They might actually go back to their original plan and kick Madison out.

I've always been big on "the Knockouts are better off without her", but I never said I wouldn't welcome her back. She'd most likely just come right into the Beautiful People, marking the end of Lacey's time in TNA.

Once she's back in her role though, I hope the stable stays small time. Angelina got a ton of TV time, and once she left, it got passed around to the other Knockouts, and they've all looked really good as of late.

TNA should just put her in the ring for a promo and let her ramble on why she left and now she is back to be the queen. Im sure it would steal half of WWE viewers.

i have been hearing for nearly 2 years that she is one of their biggest draws. Well, then they have her returning tonight so lets see if she can really prove she is one of TNA biggest draws going against WWE.

I'm going to watch Angelina Love. She's the hottest thing female wise in the business today. She's the closest thing to Trish Stratus we have ever seen. I'm not sure if tonight she will make an impact on ratings, just because of Hardy, Hogan, Bischoff, maybe RVD if he is lying, other surprises. BUT, in the long run she can help.

She has "it". She makes people care about her. And people that care about her don't turn the channel when she's on. And that can lead to people buying PPVs because of her. Of course she won't draw like a Man will, but, to compete with Vince you need to bring out the little things.

WCW did it with the cruiserweights. This can be TNA's calling. The little thing that draws a few, which brings in some, which turns into a bunch, which hopefully manifests itself into big ratings

TNA bringing back Love is a awesome move. She is a good wrestler, has good mic skills, and she a hot. The best part of this is that now TNA will get rid of the horrible Lacey Von Erich.

Okay, so this is a for sure thing then. I've been discussing whether it was or not. But anyway, if she is coming back I hope they place her back in the Beautiful People and get rid of Lacey. If they have her opposing the Beautiful People, I don't think it'd work out so well.

One of the main reasons I'm happy to see her return is that I've always felt she was one of the more attractive Knockouts that could actually wrestle and put on a half decent match. It should be interesting to see how they go about using her tonight

I was impressed with the return. She kicked some ass, turned face for the meantime in the process, and looked absolutely stunning.

There was a lot of ways this return could have gone very wrong, so I'm glad they made it work, and shocked a ton of people. Angelina is good in the ring, and decent on the mic, so she adds some spark to the division. A feud between her and Velvet would be great to watch, for more reasons than I can count.

Can she fit in though? The division has changed a lot since she left, and a lot of women have stepped up and basked in the spotlight. Let's hope she doesn't take precious TV time away from Knockouts like Sarita and Taylor.

I hope that TNA actually builds this feud between Angelina and Velvet and don't waste it as a squash match on Impact.

They need to save Angelina vs Velvet for Against All Odds. Because their first match should be on PPV.

Only Angelina could make me make my first wrestling post in months. To say I'm happy is an understatement. Angelina is no Hamada or Kong in the ring, but she really is one of the best total packages TNA has/had.

She is decent to look at, can talk on the mic, and can hold her own in the ring(yes even against girls like Kong, Hamada, and Flash). She also brings a charisma and spark to the division, which has been lacking. Hamada, Taylor, Tara, ODB, Kong, Sarita, and the other chicks have did a good job at holding up the knockout division, but Angelina will just make it even better.

I loved how she came back a face. It makes sence, and Angelina unlike the other BP members can work alone. She doesn't need someone talking for her, or wrestling for her. I really do eventually want her going back to the Beautiful People for her and Velvet to kick, destory, and mangle pretty useless Von Erich. Rayne can either stay or go, I could care less.

It's going to be interesting to see where this angle goes, but I'm pumped either way. The star known as Angelina is back, and that's all that matters :)

I'm so glad that Angelina is back and I really liked how she returned. The way she came after her former partners in anger out of replacing her was great. She was a fantastic heel and I think she will make a great face too now that she has officially turned. Now that she's back, and a face, I'd like to see her feud with The Beautiful People for a while. Maybe she could recruit Taylor and Sarita to even the odds against Velvet, Madison, and Lacey, imagine the 6 woman matches these girls could put on together! I think she will become the next Knockouts Champion very soon, as a title reign with her as a face would surely be great. Angelina's return was nothing short of awesome because the Knockouts division has simply not been the same without her.

I really enjoyed the way they brought Angelina back last night. However, it's hard to tell if she's coming back as a face or not.

I think she eventually re-joins TBP. The best thing would be for her to cut a promo saying how pissed she was on how quickly she was replaced and saying how far TBP have fallen (which is true). She can mention how they used to be the top dogs in the Knockouts division, but now TBP have been reduced to mud wrestling and strip poker segments.

Now the head b*tch in charge is back to re-claim leadership of her creation, and after some punishment of Velvet and Madison, TBP are back. Whether they keep Lacy or not really doesn't matter to me. I have posted earlier on keeping her to create a 4 horseman-type group, but if they kick her out, she might as well valet for someone because she's not ready to compete as a single.

From there, TBP need a push. They don't necessarily have to win any titles, but they need to win some matches. Since Angelina left, TBP have been reduced to jobber-status. Looking at the KO roster, there are not alot of options for them to work with, especially with Christy Hemme's retirement and Roxxi's ankle injury.

Now that Kong is one half of the tag champs, you could have Angelina challenge for the KO title, or maybe the best thing would start a 3 way battle for the tag titles between TBP, Kong/Hamada and Sarita/Wilde. That's something that could be drawn out for a couple of months.

I know it was suppose to be a face turn and the crowd cheered her but to me Angelina came off more like a heel to me.

If anything it made me feel sorry for Velvet for getting beat up like that.

I don't know where this storyline is leading I guess we have to wait and see.

I am not trying to sound like an arrogant prick when I say this but I saw that coming a mile away last night and I generally don't even watch TNA that much.

I have heard a lot of stories about Angelina Love and I think that the way they put her back in the fold worked quite well. The fact that she put the boot in to 3 people last night brought her back strong and as I can gather, The Beautiful People are quite a good stable. With that being said, having Angelina decimate all of them seems a bit unrealistic but as I say, it makes her look very good. It also sets up an angle between her and Velvet Sky. It looks to me as if they are going to do a power struggle between the two of them and it will be over the Beautiful People.

It is always nice to see a beautiful woman come back into wrestling and although the return was super-predictable last night, I am anxious to see what they can come up with and I am looking forward to seeing how this angle goes.

The Beautiful People were one of the best before the situation with Angelina happened and I love that she is coming back. With the direction that TNA is going, I'm afraid that TBP may get lost in the shuffle now. I would love to see Angelina and Velvet win the Knockout Tag Team Titles but I don't know if it will happen. I'm unsure about the direction TBP will go but I hope it is a good one because they were one of the highlights of TNA and I hope they can continue to be that.

^^
First I have to say that is so wrong what you have Velvet doing to Batman in you sig.:lmao:

It was great to see Angelina back.

I think a Angelina / Velvet feud could be great. I just wish TNA would have tried to build Velvet up over the last few months because sadly she doesn't have any credibility right now.
