Lacey shoots on Angelina

So apparently Lacey took some pretty big swipes at Angelina Love publicly via an interview with the Miami Herald. She said (I'm paraphrasing) no one missed her and the role was made for her etc. etc.
She hinted (and I've read on IWC gossip sites) that Angelina wasn't always too popular in the dressing room. Anyone have any further info or can maybe speculate about that?

Furthermore, apparently TNA is forcing Lacey to contact Angelina to apologize. Meow! Thoughts?

Well, here's the part where she addresses Angelina Love...

"Quite possibly Lacey has already started the transformation into her new heel role.

``I feel like it was made for me, and she [Angelina] wasn't a good fit for it in my opinion,'' Adkisson said. ``. . . I thought that everybody was going to be, `Oh no. Angelina is gone,' but not one person said that. Nobody really missed her that much. I feel like I can fill the shoes that I'm supposed to.

``TNA told me this role was made for me, and I feel the same way. So when I met the other members, Velvet and Madison, they are awesome. . . When I got there, we all just felt like we were one group, and the band was completed. . .

``I've never met Angelina before in my life. After what some people have said, I don't know if I want to. I just feel like we can all be a group together and shine together, so I'm excited about that.'' "

The key to me is the first sentence in this segment, about her "transformation into her new heel role." Perhaps Lacey intended just a bit to further the conceited role she'll have in The Beautiful People. And it could be that TNA may be trying to keep Angelina's name alive in people's memories, just in case Angelina's visa issues are resolved and she can come back to perhaps feud with TBP. Just a thought...

christ did anyone see her debut? She was terrible, the clothsline she tried to perform was a sad thing to see in TNA. I know their in limbo with the women's division - trying to get it to work again. But they really need Love back - regardless of her attitude. She was way better than this sorry excuse of a third generation wrestler.

Wow, doesn't it seem like highschool with women's divisions in TNA and WWE?? All the catiness, backstabbing etc just seems so juvenile. Pretty girls fighting for a bigger paycheck and to get noticed ruffles feathers... who would think that would happen.,

It happens with them men too, they just settle it by shitting in one anothers gym bags it seems... dont think the ladies will handle it the same way.

I think Angelina Love fit the beautiful people role better then Lacey. I mean she is more believable and overall better wrestler then lacy and she made the beautiful people the most watched thing in tna.

I don't know what happens behind the scenes but i have heard in the past that she is not the most like cause of her attitude though

I think Lacey may be getting to big for her "britches". She's attractive but not the hottest woman in wrestling, not by a long shot. I'm glad TNA made her apologize. She doesn't even know Angelina. Angelina may not be the best wrestler out there, but she could wrestle circles around this girl. She could cut a good promo too. This chick basically has a free meal ticket for now. As soon as Angelina takes care of her visa problems, that chick will be history.

Lacey Von Erich is drop dead gorgeous, but she doesn't have nearly the level of talent to shoot on Angelina Love right now. Angelina wasn't the best in-ring worker that's true, but she was pretty damn decent overall. Based on rumors and stories posted on the net, it sounds like Angelina can work circles around Lacey and, based on what I saw this past Thursday, I wouldn't find those stories hard to believe.

Angelina Love is one of the personalities in TNA that's made Impact bearable to watch and Lacey has to earn the right to disrespect her in my view.

the BP have really gone down hill with out angelina. she looked terrible in the ring, sexy but she sucks. lacey should deffinatelly take madisons old job of being the random interferance person. not sure lacey realizes that angelina made the group. velvet was also an original but she is not as good as angelina in the ring. madison played her role well but BP is deffinatelly not what they were

I guess we know why WWE dropped her after just a few months. Von Eric was horrendous in the ring. TNA has a lot off sexy gals who can work, they don't need someone who is getting by on just her name. I don't see her lasting very long. If she had some in ring talent then I could see her shooting on Love but my god does she suck.

I'm glad that Lacey had to apologize for the comments she made about Angelina because it seems like she's getting a little too high and mighty. She is still green in the ring and even though Angelina wasn't the best, she was one of the best knockouts TNA has had. The Beautiful People won't be the same without Love and I hope Lacey doesn't mess it up.

I almost spit out my lettuce when I read that. Honestly Lacey was never known for being good at wrestling. Her matches(that I have seen)were at Maria/Eve level, she really isn't that good on the mic, the only reason why she has any reputation/job is because she's really hot, and because of her last name.

I'm sorry but Angelina was the beautiful people. She wrestled the majority of the time, had the most time on the mic, and was the clear leader(even when it was her and Velvet). And maybe the backstage people aren't missing Angelina(which I highly doubt since Velvet herself and Tara(victoria) have both come out saying that a huge hole in the KO division is gone with Love's departure).

Even former WWE diva, Sunny has come out and blasted Lacey. And while I laughed since Sunny wasn't a wrestler either and got by on her looks, what she said made sence.
