YEP YEP YEP WHAT IT DO
Helped take WWE to the promised land in two different eras? No. If we were talking about Ric Flair and NWA or WCW, then of course, he be their Hogan, but this is WWE. Michaels did keep WWE from going out of business for about two years, but that is nothing compared to what Hogan did for WWE in the 80s or how Austin revolutionized wrestling in the 90s. Why do we think Raw is stale today when we see Cena, Orton, or HHH in every main event known to man, when WWE did the exact same thing with Austin, Rock, and HHH 15 years ago? Because they re-invented the wheel with 30-inch chrome spinners. They took Hogan's formula of delivering promos and pushed the envelope to the edge, making it impossible to surpass unless Cena said fuck every other sentence with no real purpose. Has HBK ever done that? HBK and Flair are among the top 10 people that have helped out the business to no end. But there's a difference between helping the business and revolutionizing it.
Damn, I deserve some post count from this thread.
