Am I the only one watching Miz and Morrison vs. the Colons

Now I am just wondering, I have not seen a post on here about this feud and from what I can tell these two teams may be facing each other for the undisputed tag team championships at Wrestlemania. They have had two tag team matches on Smackdown with The Miz versus Primo mixed in there with Morrison and Carlito both doing commentary with JR and Tazz. Now all I continue to hear on here is complaints about the state of the tag team division, which are warranted if attacking the depth of the division but there is some great quality in the division right now.

The two matches they have had on Smackdown have been absolutely fantastic with each team successfully defending their titles against the other. ONe team won with the Midnight Drive while Carlito got the win for his team with the Backstabber. The great thing these matches helped me remember is why I love tag team matches in the first place, there are so many possible endings to a tag team match. No matter what happens adding two men who are legaly (Spelling?) involved in the match gives the bookers so many different options on how the match will end. All I know is from my almost 20 years of watching wrestling I can tell a few things and they are putting enough energy behind this that it should end in a undisputed tag team championship match at Wrestlemania 24. The Miz and Morrison have to be on that show, the WWE has put too much time and energy behind them to not have them perform at the biggest show of the year. I for one cannot wait and this match will steal the show if it goes down.

I'm following this feud as well and definitely digging it. Although once the draft happens I'm hoping that it'll just turn into Morrison vs. Carlito feuding over the U.S. title.

Also, as much as these tag matches have ruled they need to do something besides Mizorrison vs. Colons yet again at 'Mania to unify the tag titles. I'd suggest throwing in Priceless and maybe a few other tag teams into the mix. If 'Mania ended with Orton, DiBiase and Rhodes holding all of the gold I'd mark out.

I am also very interested in this feud minus the bella twins. I have always been a fan of tag teams as in like (all the tag teams from the wrestlemania 3-7 era) my favorite were always the hart foundation. i thought tag teams help develop wrestlers in a better way then just throwing them straight in the fire and letting them fail. look at what tag teams did for bret hart and shawn micheals. not sayin that the colons or miz or morrison are even at that level but its gives me intrest and they should unify the titles and have the jumping shows like they are now.

I think that they build for this is perfect in that they cant NOT do this feud or the matches they had were a complete waste of time. You have Primo and Carlito retaining when their titles on the line, and Miz and Morrison doing the exact same. Where else could they go from here OTHER then a a unification match. I remember back when Smackdown announced the 2nd tag titles and Angle and Benoit won them, but i think that ship is sailed on two tag titles with there not being enough talent or time to focus on two titles. A unification match appears to be the only option here, or the tag belts mea even less the they already do with the feud theylve built toward. Just leave the bella twins out of it, theyre worthless here. Obviously WWE doesnt think they can hack it in the ring, as they havent wrestled in eons. And noones missed them.....

The fued is so, so, so so good! I mean - anything involving Morrison is bound to take off. The guy is magic in the ring and his ability seems limitless. I like the Bella's cuz they make everything look a little better... I'm thinking one will stay with the losing team and the other w the winners - This could give the fued a bit more steam to carry it post -Mania, no?

Carlito And Primo Have A Huge ChemIstry In The Ring, Ever Since They Teamed Up For The First Time I Think At A House Show, Wwe Saw The Crowd Reaction And The Team Work Of This Brothers And Since Then They Have Had The Tag Titles. Miz And Morrison Are Huge, They Have Beaten Every Major Team In Wwe, They Beat The Hardys On Raw In The 2008 Draft I Remember, Cryme Tyme, Jesse And Festus Got Tired Of Being Beaten By Them, So Their Are No Doubt The Best.

Their Matches On Smackdown Have Been Amazing They Have Shown Huge Skills, Both Teams, And Both Have Won 1 Title Match, I Think This Gives The Tag Team Scene Some Momentum, I Feel Just Like We're Getting Back Into The Good Ol' Days Of Tag Wrestling, Maybe..... So A Match At Mania 25, Will Be Perfect, Maybe Kicking Off The Show Or Just As Quick As The 2nd Match To Begin 'mania With A Phenomenal Back And Forth Match, Wwe Should Put Them Into A Match. I was watching SD! Friday night, and I noticed something. The twin that left with Miz, she looked a bit happier than the other one. I'm not sure if it was just me, but maybe we could see the twins split and each going to the different team, instead of both teams fighting over the pair each night. Anyway, I don't know how no one should not be watching this, because.I think that WWE is pushing toward Undisputed Champions which we haven't seen for a while.

I was thinking about starting a thread like this a few days ago, nice work.

I've been getting pretty into this fued. I'm a big fan of the Colons and throwing them in with Miz&Morrison get's this story going really well. I'm thinking that one Bella will be with each team by Mania and we'll have a title match at WM25. For some reason i dont fell like WWE will unify the titles though, i think they'll just have whoever wins (Probably Miz&Morrison) carry both belts around for a while before dropping one set a few months down the track. I can see Miz&Morrison coming out the next night on Raw with the slammy's, the WWE tag titles and the World tag titles, can you picture the promo, would be gold!

I think Miz can't wrestle a lick but I happened for the first time in a while to see Miz and Primo on ECW and Primo really brought out the best of Miz. I don't see the point in The Bella Twins I really don't. I think that this is going somewhere but I'm not a fan of Miz and Morrison and I hope that for the sake of tag team wrestling that The Colons come out on top in this one

I have been watching it for sure and its the only reason i haven't been reading the spoilers. I am deployed and its not always easy to find a tv to watch when smackdown is on AFN but i make sure i do for this feud. all four are very talented and throw in the fact that it feels like there gonna unify them and to be honest i dont care who walks away with them i am just very interested in the match and the unification.

WWE is displaying a great example for kids. That someday, you have to win or your girl will leave you. LOL. Its ridiculous to have the Bella Twins leave with whoever wins. But this feud is entertaining nontheless because of the tag team action. I feel that they are gonna unify these titles and it will be done at Mania. Hell, if they are gonna uifiy this title, might as well uinify the women's and divas title. That way, it brings more competition and everyone has a chance for newer matches and newer feuds. But I think I would be interested in Colons-Legacy sometime.

This is the best thing to happen to the tag team division for while. I love this fued, as I'm fans of the Colons and I love Miz & Morrison (especially Morrison).

With everything that's been going on, this is definately going to end at 'Mania with the belts finally being unified. And no, it should not involve any other teams. Priceless are busy with Orton, and Cryme Tyme have done nothing, so why involve them with this?

But why are they doing this to the Bella Twins? They're making them look like gold-digging hoes. You'd think the Colons would dump them by now; what kind of girlfriend leaves you for losing a match? Unless they're setting up for the Bellas do something at 'Mania, like screw over one of the teams, I don't see the point in this. Becoming the undisputed tag champs is enough to fight for.

LAY DOWN SOME DAMN CRITERIA TO SHOW ME REASONS WHY HE CAN'T WRESTLE. He's good on the stick, he sells, he has some innovative moves, he is not stuck with the same couple of moves. I hear these complaints still about the Miz, did the Miz suck when he first started, ABSOLUTELY, but that was a few years ago now and wouldn't you know it, with a little time and energy he has developed into a top superstar in the WWE. Not a main eventer, but there are only about 6 or 7 of them. would be a interesting way to split them up at least, plus they both lead to interesting searchs for new partners (miz hopefully) or being billed at strong against a tag team before they drop the title to more onto to better things (morrison)

I love the idea of unified titles but wwe should have found a way to include all the rest of the legitimate tag teams available.

I mean this would be a great opportunity to showcase priceless as a credible force. Right now they just there to get beat down. It just makes them look so weak as a team and I really believe that wwe is underutelizing them big time.
Same goes for crime time. It seems like they are heading for a breakup due to the recent actions in the battle royal.

Anyways gettin back on point. I do love that the wwe Is putting emphasis on the tag divisiions with these 2 teams. And hopefully at WM we can get a unified team.

But I do wonder what the new unified tag champs are goin to do after wm cause right now after the match there is no teams out there to further continue to road back to tag title prestige. Unless we wanna see colons and MNM fight again and again and again and again. U get the picture!!

the idea of unifying the titles is brilliant, as the fight for them could rejuvenate the division. i love the fact that this match only involves miz and morrison and the colons. some people are wondering why cryme tyme and priceless aren't involved, but their lack of involvement is crucial. yes, they could be involved, have a crazy ending, and continue a branch of feuds with others in the match, but what the wwe needs now is patience. by structuring a decent feud between two talented teams, the result will have greater meaning. then, who ever wins (hopefully miz and morrison), will have the privilege of being the champions during a new era in the tag division, a MEANINGFUL one. this will then evoke priceless and cryme tyme to step up their skills, both mic (priceless) and on camera (cryme tyme), and hunger for the straps. the involvement of the twins echos the terri invitational held back in the days of the glorious "attitude era." while the twins are not as known as terri, they can still be instrumental in the win of their chosen team. call me an idiot, but when trish stratus first appeared on raw and formed t&a, all i knew about her was that she was smoking hot. and now look where she is. more often than not, a good woman stands behind a good team, and the creative possibilities with her are limitless. and i know people will read this and say "creative will drop the ball on that too!!!," but listen. vince wanted to swerve us with the christian thing because it was leaked, and the intercontinental title division is where it is because people come on here and rant because jbl is fat or punk has 0 talent. maybe if we were more optimistic about the direction of the wwe (not a wall, smart asses), then creative would follow through on their plans, and the ic title would stay in someone's hands longer than 2 months. sorry for ranting, but i felt i needed to say it.

in closing, morrison won tough enough 3. he was in a competition too.

This should be getting mid-card play on RAW right now, and not exclusive to SmackDown seeing as Miz and Morrison are ECW property. At any rate I think the matches have been the highest quality tag team bouts we've seen in a good while, and at the very worst the end of this should result in good pushes for Carlito and John Morrison who are coming off strong in the series of matches..

Have to agree with all positives. As much as i don't like Miz and Morrison when they talk.

Miz and Morrison as a tag team are very good and technically sound and then thwo in to the mix the only other valid/decent tag team in the company atm the Colon brothers. This should be a very good tag match for WrestleMania and a must see.

The vignettes going back and forth between the two teams the past few months has been hilarious and a good throw back to when wrestling was more comical.

Now if i was to chose, i'd say give the unified titles to the Colons. Miz and Morrison have been champs for along time now and they can still get it back sooner or later.

on the tag front though, would it make much difference. there's only one other valid tag team at the moment and thats Cryme Time which apparently the bookers aren't too keen on there in ring ability so don't expect them to win any time soon.

Another match announced for WrestleMania that's already happened several times. I'd be more intrested in this match if they hadn't shown it on Smackdown just last week, and then several weeks before.

But the unification element should make it slightly more intrest. I'm not really a fan of anybody in this match. But if I'm being honest I think this could steal the show. They'll all want to go out and give it their all. It's not like they will get another opportunity as big as this for a while.

I really enjoy the banter between the 2 teams. The ass-masks might be a bit much, but I'm looking forward to the match at Mania. Perhaps Vince realized that having 2 Tag titles, but only 4 real tag teams isn't working for most fans.
