All WWE '12 Discussion

So, I played a little bit and Steamboat got injured by The Rock the day after the Royal Rumble. Nothing was said and he wasn't shown up until his wrestlemania main event where he had a 15 minute iron man match with Zack Ryder. Steamboat won 5-4.

I also had Sin Cara beat Del Rio and Shawn Michaels for the Intercontinental Championship in a 3 way match. I stayed outside only to come in when someone was getting pinned or in a submission. Sin Cara held the title where he defeated Taker at Mania.

Sheamus beat Stone Cold for the US Championship at Mania.

Ace and Orton beat the Road Warriors at Mania for the tag team titles.

Cena lost to Cody Rhodes in a Raw vs Smackdown match...

Had to have a Scramble Match for the title at Extreme Rules PPV. Taker vs Edge vs HBK vs Big Show vs Del Rio.

I was playing Taker and right after I scored my final pin on the Big Show with a Tombstone, Del Rio sneaks a submission win over HBK with 2 seconds left on the clock, so I didn't have time to do anything to stop it or score another win. So Alberto Del Rio is the new Undisputed Champion.

Please tell me that undertakers streak had allready been broken.
 
No, it wasn't broken. I had him off the year before. I don't care though. Takers streak is overrated anyways.
 
Do you guys actually play every match, sim every match, or play the occasional one and sim most of them.

Also, do you manually change matches, or just play what the Universe mode comes up with?

I tend to play every match, and I do alter quite alot of the matches.
 
I just play Punk on Raw and Bryan on SmackDown.

I accidentally simmed a match between Punk and McGillicutty and McGillicutty got the upset win. I booked a rematch later that night, beat the living piss out of him and then moved him to Superstars.

Politics.
 
I sim a few to just see what happens some times. I will play the majority of the RAW and Smackdown matches, sim most of the Superstar matches, and play all of the PPV matches. I change them sometimes to fit what storyline path I want to take sometimes I just go with what the game itself comes up with unless it puts wrestlers I have team together going against one another for no apparent reason, which I think is the dumbest part of the Universe mode.
 
I just play my CAW on Raw and McIntyre on SD although if the occasional match looks good to me then I'll watch it such as the Elimination Chamber. Right now, my CAW is in a great fued with Edge starting with him costing me the Taker match at WM, then my CAW won an Extreme Rules match at Extreme Rules. Edge won at Over the Limit in a regular match and my CAW won at Fatal 4 Way in a Steel Cage match. Now we're both involved in the RAW MITB match.
 
I play my CAW on Nitro(which replaces RAW) and just whats intresting on SD. I also only change matches to what suits my needs such as Rey Mysterio vs The Rock in another No.1 Contenders match for the 3rd month to something like Brock Lesnar vs Eddie Guerrero. This spices things up and makes matches much more intresting.
 
Won the title off Bryan with Orton, so I play as Randy now. Couldn't beat Punk with Mysterio though, so I'll carry on playing as Punk. I can't beat anyone as Mysterio, except Lesnar, who respectfully shook my hand - I somehow managed to kick out of an F5 - but then attacked Randy Orton with a chair later the same night. That guy, eh? Mixed signals.

Heath Slater kicked out after I punted him. Didn't see that one coming.
 
Im kinda screwed for Fatal 4 Way now. It was supposed to be a Edge vs Eddie vs Lesnar (c) vs My Caw(using his rematch clause) but Eddie is out now due to an ankle injury in a 1v1 match vs my Caw and Edge did something in a match vs Lesnar in teh same week. I want it to be a triple threat. I still have 3 weeks so Im thinking have the long awaited return of Shawn Michaels and have him save My Caw from a 2v1 by Lesnar and Goldberg who are in a stable. Then Have Goldberg and HBK make it a Fatal 4 way. Then have Goldberg cost Lesnar the title and have HBK or my Caw win it and ahve them feud and Lesnar and Goldberg feud.

The fatal four-way with HBK and Goldberg sounds good to me. What have you called your CAW btw?

What are his finishers and what does he look like?
 
New drama on mine. Steamboat teamed with my CAW to help my CAW win WWE title. Now Steamboat turned his back on CAW to set up a whc vs wwe title match. I had Kovloz turn on Kane. I had Goldust help Cody beat The Rock for the IC title.

This is such a big clusterfuck. Lol
 
Punk versus Cena was the main event of Raw. Orton, the world heavyweight champion, came out. When the fight spilled out of the ring, Orton got in Cena's face. Me and Cena then proceeded to beat the living hell out of Orton before he ran off.
 
I have had nothing but people turning on each other going through this summers PPV leading into Summerslam.

HHH made his return from injuries that he suffered from Brock Lesnar at WM to help out Diesel against the Undertaker and Kane. The next week on RAW after Diesel beat the Undertaker to get a shot at the Undisputed title, HHH raised Diesel's hand and then attacked him!

The next week Kane then turned on Taker before his match with HBK!! That set up the lets put the enemies on teams match and make them face each other tag team match! Diesel and HHH beat Kane and Taker but after the match HHH attacked both Taker and Diesel with a lead pipe!!

So The Ministry and The Kliq my two big stables have completely fallen apart now. Diesel and HBK have remained together as HBK helped save Big Daddy Cool from a beat down from HHH on Smackdown. Razor and X-Pac have went on their own defending the WWE&World Tag Titles and are challenging Cena/Warrior for the Unified Tag Belts. HHH is completely on his own going after Diesel and Taker. Kane has taken Bam Bam and Vader with him and Mankind remains the only Ministry member loyal to Taker at this point!

Going into Summerslam it looks like a 4 Way match for the title Taker defending against Kane, HHH, and Diesel. HBK will be challenging Stone Cold for the IC title, Razor/Pac vs Cena/Warrior for the Tag Titles with Bam Bam and Vader waiting in the wings to take on the winners!

It was "Lightning Fast" Blade Mercer but it turns out his more power orientated so I changed it to "The King" Blade Mercer since he won the King of the Ring before going Main Event. I'll change it to something else in a few weeks when I have another King of the Ring tourney.

He looks like hmm. His brown, has a mullet, i didnt change the face or body much. Umm his 6'8 I think. His ring attire is long black pants and the shoes that look like converse haha. His entrance attire is the same but with a Leather Jacket and his cutscene is the same as the ring but with a white shirt.

Signatures are the Randy Orton Stomp and Scissors Kick.Finishers are The Ankle Lock and the Destroyer which is A clothesline duck into a DDT where he puts them like his going for a suplex but lifts into a oklahoma position then a rolling side slam from there. I want to change the Destroyer though.
 
Kharma made her debut in mine by destroying Natayla at NOC. Vader and Orton defeated Demolition for the Unified Titles. Sin Cara beat Kozlov who turned his back on Orton, Vader and My created wrestler. HHH is now in a faction with Nash, SCSA, HBK... It's getting weird..
 
Is it just me or are suicide dives useless in this game? Haven't managed to hit one with Punk, Mysterio or Bryan. Depth is just too hard to judge for me to successfully pull it off.
