BRODUS CLAY!

The roster looks amazing. With him, Brock Lesnar, Daniel Bryan, John Cena, CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Mason Ryan, Christian, Mark Henry, Alex Riley and The Rock, my main event scene is going to be awesome.

The Uso's and Curt Hennig have been confirmed not to be in the game..

Why in the blue hell is Husky Harris in the game and The Uso's, who have regularly seen on TV over the past year not made it. That makes absolutely no sense to me. I would much rather have another tag-team in the game than someone as utterly worthless as Husky Harris.

I wasn't expecting Curt Hennig in the game so this isn't a major disappointment. I wouldn't have minded him being one of the legends though, Mr Perfect was great back in the day and it would have been pretty cool to team him up with his son.

You'd have Brodus Clay in your main event scene. I think its safe to say that on my game he WILL NOT be getting used. He sucks

The E&C old school costumes look awesome!!!!!! Love it!

Good to see an old school Shawn Michaels on the game too, and the Road Warriors old attire is sweeeeeet

WWE Magazine :
"WWE '12 boasts a WrestleMania-sized roster of icons that, for the first time ever, can be used by gamers right off the bat. Superstars such as Demolition, Ricky Steamboat, Kevin Nash and others are available initially: future downloadable greats will include the likes of Shawn Michaels, Randy Savage and Mick Foley. Oh yeah, and they'll also offer alternate attire for Edge and Christian, a throwback to their late-'90s tag team heyday, just for the benefit of those with flash photography."

Late 90's E&C? Macho Man? Mick Foley? Fuck yeah! Or should I say.. Oh yeaahh!

I think the reason I'm pissed about Hennig and a lot of other legendary names not being in is that it looks like I'm actually gonna play often with all the legends. It always didn't feel right making them wrestle in a modern day Raw or Smackdown arena but with the Create An Arena feature that little problem is fixed.

Agreed about The Uso's. At least we got Community Creations where I packed my CAW roster full of modern say wrestlers and old school legends in SVR11. Whenever I played with any legends it was in the WCW Nitro arena cause like I said, it just didn't feel right putting them in a modern day arena.

Ooooh yeah, I was hoping Macho Man was gonna be included, I've been waiting for him in a WWE game for a long time (and All Stars doesn't count).

Planned DLC which is wholly content which already exists? Come on - even you guys must realise that's bullshit.

"I'd like a cake please."
"That's $60."
"Cool."
"Would you like icing with that?"
"Sure."
"Alright, that'll be an extra $20."
"Um, what?"
"An extra $20."
"Oh, OK. I guess you have to make it from scratch."
"Nope. It was already on the cake. We cut it off. $20 to put it back on. Thanks."
"But all you did was add a wig to Christian's character model."
"I'm sorry, what?"
"Sorry, got bored of the cake shop metaphor."

That list is awesome and hopefully true. A bit bummed Piper isn't in the game. It has been ages since Hot Rod was in the SVR series. Just paid off the game in full, so my anticipation level is through the roof. Can't wait.

Sorry, how have you paid for this? You've pre-ordered it? Does that include the DLC?

I took a slew of old games back today and it covered the rest of the cost for WWE 12, so I just have to wait for it to be released to get. Unfortunately it doesn't include the DLC, so I'll have to shell out money for that.

I just got off the phone to THQ. I couldn't hear them over the sound of the silver dollars raining down on them. I managed to make out something like, "Next year, we're just going to release a really General Zod-looking CM Punk and Rey Mysterio, and release everyone else at $5 a pop." Then he got taken out by, like, a £2 coin or something.

If you pay ten dollars you get the all access pass which allows you to unlock everything immediately and also gives you every DLC pack for free.

Well I really really hate DLC. Fuck sony for selling me a freaking defective PS3 (it wont access the internet) and wanting me to pay 150 bucks to fix it (Its had the problem from day one, so its their own damn fault not mine). I don't know if I want the game anymore because I can't get Rock and all the other DLC stuff, so I probably going to pass this year (09 was the last time I got the game).

More DLC news:

Batista has been confirmed. In an image posted by Tank (A THQ designer) he showed the new WWE Universe mode and one of the names on the match card was Batista. When asked, he gave a cagey response that confirmed it. It looks like the list I posted earlier was legit.

not that pumped about that. cooler stuff they could have done

EDIT: UNLESSS he has his full epic bad guy Batista entrance with the body builder poses under the total black and single white spotlight. THEN I would be pumped

Universe Mode Part 1

Part 1 of the new "Universe Mode" 2 part article has been posted by THQ which goes into details about what they've fixed, taken out, and added to Universe 2.0. And if I have to give an opinion, I'll say that this Universe Mode looks even promising. Especially when you read...

Championship Match Control

In SVR '11, the monthly pay-per-view was the designated championship day on your Universe calendar. In WWE '12, that's no longer the case. Not only can you have championship matches on Raw, SmackDown, PPVs, or hell, even Superstars, but you can have one whenever you see fit. Want to make Zack Ryder vs Ziggler on Raw a U.S. title match? Do it, broski! You asked for it, and we delivered. Community feedback towards development at it's best.

Create-A-Show

I'll jump right into this one. This year, you can replace any existing show on your WWE Universe calendar with one of your own. Using our new Create-An-Arena feature, you can now create your own show. To round out this experience, you can also designate your own titles and Superstars/Divas for your created show (including CAS). AWA, WCW, and ECW? The possibilities are endless. You're welcome.

I've said it once, and I'll say it again... this game will be AMAZING!

I'm with Norcs. If it is full out Batista heel entrance it makes his entry in the game worthwhile. If not, I'll likely rarely use Big Dave. I'd rather Jericho or Hart, but I can't complain as the rest of the roster is a doozy. And I too will be doing the all access.
