That's true to a degree, but when you have people like Cameron and Rosa Mendes, seeing AJ doing Shining Wizards and the Black Widow was a nice upgrade.

I mean....at least they paid off the angle. What I don't get, is through this, they did start to get over somewhat, and then they just disappeared? Why take a direction, pay it off on PPV, have it start to WORK, and at THAT point decide to pull the plug?

As I have said before, I would love to know were everyone is getting access to the WWE's current financial structure.

Do they get paid more than the bellas? Probably no. More than Cameron? Fuck outta here they don't. Especially with the touring and growth of the brand.

It's about the opportunity to get paid more though. It's about wrestling in front of a packed arena with thousands in attendance and millions watching all over the World. This has to be every pro wrestler's dream. And as a fan you can say for selfish reasons you'd like to see them stay in NXT since it's more entertaining for you personally, but for them there's no doubt their dream is to make that main roster and have that possibility of becoming a legitimate star and potential all-time great, two things you can't achieve in NXT.

Missed most of AJ's run, but in the couple of years I've seen her, I can't say I'll really miss her at all. Her as a heel was pretty good, but I've hated her face run quite a bit... I never quite 'warmed' to her whatsoever.


That said; I've never during the past 2 years been given a real reason to be invested in a divas storyline whatsoever, and just use their segments either as Eye candy segments or as Bathroom breaks... and I fully expect that to continue going forward.

Don't get what's the big deal of her being overrated or her leaving causing any issues. She is free to do what she wants and unlike so many, at least she left with her dignity and can live off what she already has.

Yeah, there's probably Punk influence in there. But what so terrible about it? She's a made person at this point.

This past Monday they announced a tag match for Smackdown. By Smackdown, it was already changed. They can't keep the matches straight for a single day. I'm never surprised when they just drop stuff.

Well, she doesnt want to be a part of Total Divas(not to mention that it would be impossible for WWE to show her personal life and not at least mention CM Punk) and focal point of the show is so much on that now that we even got Nattie vs Big Butt on RAW. Not to mention that she would probably like to commit to marridge more then wrestling.

Big blow for Divas division, but with current shape of things she knew there is no serious place for her in some order of things.

Never liked AJ, agreed that she was extremely overrated in and out of the ring, even during her wrestling prime and her GM of whatever she was GM of.

She's small and hott and quick, so, visually she's "one of the best divas ever" but in reality a very easily forgettable female wrestler.

Her and Punk should fight Rousey in a handicapped match. They might eclipse 12 seconds. #DoubleArmbar

Well that's just ridiculous, wouldn't even crack my top 5. I also happen to think her ass is almost as overrated as her in-ring work. She's fucking stick thin and has the ass of an 11 year old boy honestly.

Legitimate question: Is there any AJ match aside from the one against Kaitlyn at Payback that was really that good? Her ones with Paige never really seemed to reach the level they should at all, probably because at the time whatever the Bellas were doing with Steph got more time.

Apart from that match you mentioned, she also had a pretty good match with Natalya on 3/11/14 according to my blog ratings, whatever show that was. Really, she was never that good. Not bad, no, but not someone I would watch each week and go "God DAMN she can work!". I'll take half the NXT divas over her anyday please.

I honestly can't imagine AJ Lee of all people has made enough money to retire for the rest of her life on. Punk's money? Oh hell yes. Not her own though.

Yeah, won't be surprised if the same thing happens here. With AJ gone for good, maybe this finally forces WWE to bring up Charlotte and Sasha Banks, among a couple of others. This will probably turn out to be a really good thing.

Charlotte can swim, I fear for Sasha on the main roster.

Also the top feud in the Diva Division will be with Niki Bella for the foreseen future. So yeah, nothing to look forward too there.
