A Very Regal Three Hour RAW: King Of The Ring LD - 11/29/10

I wouldn't mind seeing King Sheamus. A world where crazy albinos rule. The gingers will inherit the world again. Daywalkers can be free of the stigmas of all that is wrong that is associated with being red-headed. King Sheamus shall bring about the love of the gingers in the world.

Not even close. I won't mind if he wins. But I'll take quite a few of the alternatives first.

:lmao: Phew. Thought the world was ending for a moment.

And, I just don't want Zeke to win it. The guy is shit. Wow, he's big. Whoa, he slams people powerfully. Forbid he fucking did an F-5. People would shit and blow loads in their pants at the same time.

Del Rio is the 2nd worst option, but I'd rather he take it than Zeke.

My picks are either ADR, Sheamus or JoMo and a long shot in Zeke.

I think Sheamus has a better chance of getting a tan right now before Zeke would win...ur right JDogg.

That being said, I think this is hopefully when we see the return of THE King of Kings.

I'm torn. I want Bryan to win, but I also want ADR to win.

Also, remember - Tonight on commentary:

I just don't see Triple H making some random return at the end of another episode of Raw. Tie in to the King v. King storyline or not.

I see HHH being more of a surprise Rumble entrant than anything.

Triple H takes out Daniel Bryan backstage with a sledgehammer and ends his career. He then takes his spot in the tournament, annihilates everyone elses, and becomes KOTR for the second time in his career. Later that night, he challenges Miz for the WWE title and beats him in seconds to become champ.

And the IWC collectively vomits at once. :)

Give me a fucking break. The crowd ate his shit up during the feud with Hardy and Long and he easily could have rode that momentum had creative given him a chance to do it.

I always found that they reacted for what his opponent did, got quiet for what he did then got loud for whatever his opponents did in retaliation. But hey, if it gets the face a reaction, then I guess he did his job.

But when he's dropped down the card and given garbage to work with, he can't be blamed for becoming garbage.

Sure he can. Kaval's been jobbing on Superstars, and occasionally Smackdown since he won NXT. And yet, he's managed to get pretty darn over. And then there's people who in spite of doing fuck all are still over (see: Kane when he's not being a monster, Too Cool, Goldberg's accidental winning streak and Matt Hardy). Like I say, McIntyre is skilled but in my books he's missing something that makes him able to instantly connect to an audience. You may disagree, but opinions are like ********s. Everyone's got one, and most of them are objectionable to other people.

For months he's been marginalized as one half of Generic Thrown Together Cocky Heel Team #8456 and it's somehow his fault that he couldn't make that work?

Because no thrown together tag teams ever work? Remind me to tell that to Miz and Morrison and every other tag team thrown together before signing a WWE contract.

And it's not like this is the first generic heel team McIntyre's been in. Substitute "cocky" for "foreign" and bump up the number and you're away.

Give me a break. Nobody can make that and occasional matches with MVP count and you know it.

Except that it can be made to work, and it has been made to work before. Would it have required creative to do something? Sure but at the end of the day, making it work would have come down to Drew McIntyre.

Fixed.

Matt Hardy, before Drew McIntyre was doing next to nothing other than being put in random matches for no reason. With McIntyre, Hardy was suddenly getting loud pops and being cheered for a purpose other than being the less-liked brother of the more popular Hardy.

Now that their feud has ended.. which of the two has been released? Yep. But, McIntyre surely still has his job because he's the one of those two that sucked worse. :suspic:

What happened to you pushing for McIntyre to win it?

So is it gonna be SD vs RAW stars for the KOTR? Because with the hatred that Sheamus has for JoMo, I don't see this going down the way it SHOULD, I would want to say that Sheamus will probably decmiate whoever he will fight, probably Dashing Rhodes, and then attack JoMo on his way to the ring or backstage.... then this can lead to HHH coming out and coming after Sheamus, leading to a real "True King of King" matches..ala reminiscent of the Booker T vs HHH at Summerslam that one year.

Even if he does lack the ability to connect, that never stopped Orton or Edge from getting pushed again and again and again.

But at the end of the day, Matt was still getting a big reaction before and during his feud with McIntyre, who as I said way back when was the one being stuck in a feud with Matt to get over.

Drew doesn't suck. He's got all the skills needed to be a success, and he's also young enough to have 15-20 years left in him (barring injuries).

What happened to you pushing for McIntyre to win it?

When did I push for him to win? DCR is my pick, on the grounds that everybody higher up the card is busy doing something else, and therefore don't need a crown to have purpose and don't have the time to distract attention from their feud to a corronation ceremony.

Except Kofi's doing shit, but there's no way he's going to be crowned King Kofi Kingstone.

He'll float to the top eventually. He's got the time to learn how to sell himself to an audience. Once he can do that, his ring skills will do the rest.

Also, I thought Edge was able to work a crowd back in the day. Still can, since he got that brief "spear, spear, spear" shit over.
