A Fucking Challenge

So the finals are over and The D-Man and I have buried our hatchet. He was the better man last week and we both know it. The judges have spoken.

We are both well aware of the fact that he and I could continue our little "rivalry" now and go back and forth on a variety of topics, but that wouldn't prove a thing. We know we're the best, but we also know that there is competition to be had.

SO WE WOULD LIKE TO ISSUE A CHALLENGE.

If there is a tag team of 2 posters out there who feel that they are worthy, step up to the plate and debate The North Jersey Coalition. Perhaps Tastycles and Gelgarin would like to try their hand? Phoenix and LJL? Or maybe Lord Sidious FINALLY wants to put his money where his unfathomably large mouth is and find a partner who is willing to work with him. Or maybe Sidious is afraid of his admin rival and the debate champion whom Sidious feels is just a kiss ass. In classic Sidious fashion, I expect a quick, snide retort followed by a "greco-roman turn tail and run."

The rules are simple. D-Man and I pick the topic. But our opponents may choose the side they debate. 4 posts per team - an opening, two rebuttals, and a closing. Each team member makes 2 of the posts. When it's over, we can either have volunteer judges or we can have a poll to let the readers vote.

Who has the guts to accept the challenge?

I think it would be a much closer debate than what we had before, IC. AT that point, I was very fresh to debating and I had no emotion. With the CLDL, I think I have found that and I would love to take another crack at the most emotional debater on here. Words can't describe how awesome another D-Man vs Phoenix debate would be.

That, coupled with you calling me insecure despite having such little faith in your own knowledge that you refuse to participate unless you know the topic ahead of time. Dude, that Vader sig is awesome! I'm saving it for after the Wrestlezolympics, because I really want to promote those, but I'll use it in the future. I think it's brilliant.

Doc, why don't you team with Lee for a future debate? Sidious only plays by his rules and wouldn't be a strong enough partner for you. Lee would, though.

Teaming up with my mentor that went to the Debator's finals against me is very exciting. IC25 and I thought this would be a good idea and I'm sure our opponents won't disappoint.

Phoenix and Dave will be MORE than formidable opponents. That should be a classic slobberknocker.

If it involves anything that happens no earlier than the 80's, and involves either the WWE(F) or WCW, then I would be interested.

However, like I said, I feel it is best that we take positions we legitimately agree with. It makes for a more passionate debate.

TF I'm talking about the debator league rules. This challenge is being made under similar rules. We're not going to take challenges from teams who need to know the topic before deciding whether or not to participate. If you sign up, you sign up to debate anything wrestling related.

Then I am not interested in having you.

You're missing the point - you sign up first, THEN you learn the topic. And if you don't know a lot about it, you RESEARCH it. If you're not passionate about the topic, too bad, you debate it anyway.

You have too many guidelines, this isn't a contract negotiation.
