80's Region – Designing Women vs Joanie Loves Chachi

Worst spinoff in TV history versus one of the best TV shows CBS had in it's lineup in the 80's. Period. Joanie Loves Chachi shouldn't have been on here in my opinion, but it got enough votes I guess.

Designing Women invented the term 'Cougar' in my opinion. These girls were middle aged, horny, and southern. Who wouldn't love that show. And Meshach Taylor fit in well, too. This show is an underdog and don't be shocked to see this get a lot of votes in later rounds.

Joanie Loves Chachi was a cheap fucking knock-off, and I could only ever sit through one or two episodes before I decided to never watch it again.

Designing Women was annoying as hell too, but it never made me change the channel, and I would at least consider watching it if a rerun came across the TV.

Never seen this "Designing Women" show and frankly I don't really need to. Joanie Loves Chachi gets the vote from me simply because it was a spinoff of one of the greatest shows ever made in Happy Days. Yeah, it was probably the worst of those spinoffs, but it was still marginally entertaining. Scott Baio! Come on! Plus doesn't chachi mean penis in Portugese or something like that?

There is no way in hell this show deserved to be in the tourney much less be against a pretty good show in Designing Women. The episodes were real funny. Joanie Loves Chachi was shit. Pure shit. No one cared they loved and fucked each other. But X's analysis was funny though.

How can a fan of one of the baddest motherfuckers who ever existed, Stan Hansen, also be a fan of Designing Women? That makes absolutely no sense to me, dude... lol.

Seriously though... Designing Women was shit, especially for guys. I'm sure if you're a 45-year-old, mother of 4 you could somewhat enjoy it, but someone like myself? Heavens no.

Joanie Loves Chachi... it was what it was, and that was as X said, a spin-off of one of the greatest shows in history. Was it a disappointment? Sure it was, but still... Chachi was the fucking man, so he deserves some love here, especially against a piece of shit like Designing Women.
