Yeah, I'm going to vote for The Simpsons.

For me, a lot of my voting will be done on a scheme which directly correlates to hoe much enjoyment I got out of a show at one time or another.

For me, very few shows are even close to the Simpsons. There was a point in my life where The Simpsons were the trendy thing. Me and my friends used to stop what we were doing at 7 o'clock at night and rush inside to watch the latest slice of American escapism. The Simpsons was and still is a show that speaks to many. I don't think it is tremendously funny now but it did give me a sense of how amazing animated comedy could be and that still lies prevalent in my viewing habits today. Family Guy and American Dad might not be here if it wasn't for The Simpsons and it truly has stood the test of time in my eyes anyway. I still tune in from time to time and I really do think that it is still a good show. The characters are dated and the stroylines are declining in quality but for the 30 minutes of my day where I watch the show, I know that I am in for some good TV.

Only Fools is a good show too. Apparently, it is an institution of British comedy and has a huge history to it. Personally, I do like it but never got as much excitement or sheer joy out of it like I did with The Simpsons.

For that reason, I vote for The Simpsons.

I'm going with The Simpsons here, shocker I know. One of the best sitcoms ever (in my opinion, the best) and it deserves to keep on trucking all the way to the finals to win it all. Vote The Simpsons.

That's what it boils down too. The Simpsons is a juggernaut in this thing. There might be no stopping this franchise. It's the fucking Simpsons!! What the fuck more is there to say against a show I havent heard of? The Simpsons is undeniably the best cartoon of all time.

It saddens methat people haven't heard of only fools and horses, but alas I vote simpsons. Why? Simpsons is a lot more funnier than OFAH is (aside from thebatman/robin christmas episode). Simpsons here, easily.

Well this is a fucking blowout. My vote goes to Only Fools and Horses just so it has at least one vote. I always found it very funny and David Jason is a great actor and was very good in this. The Simpsons is good but I have grown tired of it now. Unlike OFAH where I haven't caught as many episodes so its still fresh.

OFAH was a fantastic Tv show Argueably the UK's biggest ever tv show and its going against The Simpsons which has only been funny maybe 1 season out of the daft amount of years its been on. Futurama was far funnier than The Simpsons and I'd put Only Fools over Futurama. So by that reckoning OFAH > Simpsons. Seriously people do some fucking research, dont just vote because its been on 16 years longer than it should have been.

Im not going to debate that. Not at all, but this is The Simpsons boy-o. 20 years and counting, and a global phenomenon. Yeah, it really sounds like OFAH was the better show.

Also we could argue how to spell arguably, but we dont need to dive into good spelling 101 on an internet wrestling forum.

I have, and found that with 20 years and counting, numerous video games, an unstoppable franchise really, I ahve come to find that The Simpsons might be the greatest thing ever.

Wow, look at that gap between the scores! I'm not all that surprised though. I almost voted for Only Fools and Horses out of feeling sorry for it.... but the Simpsons gets my vote here because although the quality of episodes has gone down for a few years, it has remained good and funny for 20 years. TWO DECADES. Not many other sitcoms can claim that one.

The Simpsons is a motha fuckin' cultural institution. I don't watch it that much anymore, even though it's always on, but I really, really like it. Arguable the best animated show of all time and something that everyone can recognize. Even your 120 year old great grandmother has watched over 30 episodes of the Simpsons, I guarantee it.

IT's a tough one. On the one hand you have a programme that was averagely funny for most of its run. On the other, you have a show that started reasonably, then got great, and is now an embarrassment. Seriously, I don't think I've laughed at a Simpsons episode made this century, and that is bad. Still, I think all in all it is probably funnier in the seasons when it was at its peak then Only Fools and Horses. I can't help but think that a lot of people are blindly voting for the Simpsons having never seen Only Fools, which seems ******ed.

Yeah, how the hell can you not vote for The Simpsons here? I laughed out loud earlier when someone said that the Simpsons was only funny for "1 season". Yeah, you don't know what the fuck you're talking about. The Simpsons was the funniest show on television for almost a decade, you aren't going to find better television than what The Simpsons produced in 92-98, that was really the prime of the show and man, is there even any other argument I need to make here? Just vote for the fucking Simpsons, it's an institution and stuff.

I'd never even heard of Only Fools And Horses so my vote went to the Simpsons. Its amazing how after 21 seasons and 449 episodes they're still keeping it entertaing. Except for the occasional clip show every episode of the Simpsons has somehow manged to entertain me.
