2013 NFL Draft LD

Here's hoping the Browns don't blow it on Geno Smith. At least not at 6. If Geno's their guy, they can trade down and get extra value.

I will miss fleecing Cleveland for 3 extra picks for moving down one spot this year.

I don't really regret it - locking down Richardson was worth it - but it does sting a little bit to give up all that value for a "maybe" scenario.

To be fair, Cleveland is my second team, so I was happy Cleveland got TRich, but I still had the joy of mocking my friend Tyler who's a big Cleveland fan over it the whole night of the first round as we drank beer after beer.

Idk how long I'll be able to handle Berman on ESPN though. Should really have Wingo on throughout it, not just days 2-3.

This is wishful thinking, but if Cordarelle Paterson drops to 23 inexplicably, the Vikings better DO THE RIGHT FUCKING THING AND DRAFT HIM.

Yes I'm all in on Patterson. Don't ask me why. Bring this up to me next year when he's on a different team and I will talk shit all day long about him.
That's not at all inexplicable. In fact, he's expected to go that low, or even lower. If anything, it's a little bit of a stretch. I wouldn't be surprised if he falls out of Round 1.

I (and I would assume a bunch of teams too) tend to like me players capable of being able to learn an offense, which Cordarelle is supposedly not very adept at.
Also, all apologies to CH, but I hope Chicago gets Teo, leaving Ogletree to drop to the Vikes for one of their picks.
Why would you apologize to somoene for getting the clear cut best middle linebacker in the draft, a clear cut leader and amazing football player? If anything, he should apologize for the Vikes not getting him. Vikes will pick him if he's there.

Oh, and Vikes should want Tavon Austin if he's there at 13, and trade their 2 picks this year for the Jets spot at 13.

I'd be fine with the Lions taking any one of these 5 guys (assuming they don't trade back): Fisher, Joeckel, Lane Johnson, Ansah, or Milliner. No particular order.

on another note, I am so happy to make my NFL Network Draft debut this year. Thank you Cablevision for finally coming to your senses.

I would bet good money that Ogletree outperforms Te'o in the NFL.

Ehhh I'm enamored with him. Robert Woods would be a great choice as well, possibly better than Patterson.

I realize the talent is there, but he had a statistical outlier his last year in college. That scares me, if he had that type of production a little more consistently, then yes I would absolutely love it.

No.

I would Woods at 39 if the Jets miss on Tavon Austin.

He was a beast for his entire career. The only real outlier was the picks, which isn't a huge deal.

Hey, I can hope. I want as many #1's as possible.

With the first pick in the NFL Draft, the Kansas City Chiefs select Leon Sandcastle.

Then switch to NFL Network if you can. I finally did thanks to my cable provider coming to their senses and it's amazing.

They're going to go with Joeckel or however you spell it. Can't throw the ball if you can't protect the QB.

Considering how many sacks the Jags took last year, they take Joeckel.

They'd need a QB for that to happen...

Wait I change my pick Geno Smith :suspic:

not really gonna stick with Jordan for the hell of it.

Yeah should've figured. I'll admit I don't know shit about the Jags having watched only one of their games in the last 3 years (against the Lions).

#3 - Lane Johnson via trade.

That would involve a trade up. Probably to something in the top 15.

Jacksonville is the worst team in the NFL. Holes everywhere. In that position, you take talent. Joeckel is the best talent in the draft. Easy choice.
