1. you can never have too many D-Linemen, just ask the Giants, who won 2 SBs for them.

2. There are 4 DL spots in a 4-3 D. They only drafted 2 of them recently.

they took 3 now in the first round in the past few drafts and they have lots of other defensive holes is all im saying, the giants could afford to do that cuz they had much better depth.

Thing is, if you can get to the passer at an elite level, all other holes are covered. Giants did NOT have a good defense aside from the front 4, yet they won the Super Bowl thanks to an elite pass rush that beat up on Tom Brady.

Lions are trying to do the same thing.

They are expecting one to be there in Round 2, which is likely. They don't expect a top pass rusher to be there.

I could see Cleveland trading back up into late 1st round if DJ Hayden or Desmond Trufant are still there.

yeah if you plan on fairley, suh, and ansah being as phenomenal as JPP, Tuck, and Osi... so far that's not working out too well for them. And they still have holes everywhere else.

I would bet that's what Detroit hopes and expectations actually. Given that Tuck and Osi are both veterans while Suh and Fairley are 2 and 1 year guys, I'd say it's unfair to expect them to be at that level right away.

They had a hole and filled it, I don't see the problem. Especially considering the depth at pass rushers is thinner then at corner.
