Obama takes the first subtle strike. Taking 1/4 of his very precious time on jobs to wish his wife a happy anniversary. Not only a cute, crowd-friendly tactic, but it shows Romney that he's confident he can handle the situation in 3/4 the time.

I agree with both of you. Romney has been far too vague in this election. The one thing he needed to do was come out with details, and sway the voters with a plane to get from where we are, to where we want to be. I thought he did that well in the opener.

I think the fact that Obama takes his time with his answers is going to make him look favorable compared to Romney. Romney went about a mile a minute with his answer and hit about 5 different topics in, what, two minutes? You can't win votes if nobody can understand what you're saying.

I don't think Romney's getting that flustered. I actually think he's holding it together rather well.

This argument is really annoying. Obama says Romney is going to do something, Romney says he isn't and it's a lie. Obama says he is, Romney says he's not.

And there's a zinger from Obama: "You've been running on this tax plan for a year. In the past five weeks, now you're big plan is...'never mind.'"

Its really not though. 3 of the top 5 oil producing nations are in North America (if you include Mexico)
