Well if Awesome-Miz does bail then it just made it easier for Mr. Steve as he gets to sit back and relax for a week or so.
I wish we didn't have a bail but at the same time he said personal shit happened so I don't want to bad mouth the guy.
Either way he wasn't gonna get past Mr. Steve so it doesn't really matter.

In all honesty, I think he was lying. We get this in WZCW all the time. "Something's come up, can I have an extension". I can almost, even though everyone in WZCW has been given an extra day this week, he'll still ask for one.

No, no it doesn't matter.
If he can't debate or do whatever he's doing in WZCW he could just say so. If you can't debate you can't debate, just take 2 seconds and say you can't and you have to pull out.
It looks as if Dirty Jose is going to defeat deanerandterry in the opening round, setting up a debate between Dirty Jose and Mitch Hennessey in the next round. The winner of this debate will win the 2012 Debaters League. No doubt about it.

I just got back from work so I'll get on that ASAP. Don't worry, it'll be judged before the night is over.
Uhhh... ok. Never said anything about debating Pancake. So....
I agree with this statement. Unfortunately for myself; Mitch, Killjoy and probably DirtyJose are still in the winners bracket. That means trouble for our hero. 3 guys with well deserved respect in my eyes are still standing on my path to victory. Tough debates will be fought.
Problem is, I dont scare easily and have no intent to just roll over and die. As intimidating and talented as those chaps might be- I will make it to the end. I will stand scarred, bloody and triumphant in this years tournament as your DL 2012 Champion.
Send me DirtyJose so we can engage in what I'll like to call "The Intercontinental Debater's League Champion of 2012."

Well, I promised that it was going to be judged by the end of the night so it looks like I kept my promise.
D-Man, I really do have to compliment you so far on all of this. As you know, I wasn't too sure of the way it was going to be ran this year at first but let me tell you, so far everything has been smooth. So I do want to say thank you because as a judge I don't feel overwhelm at all or like this is too much and I think that's very important as well. Looking back now, I can see why there were issues with getting the debates judged on time when TM was running it since there were a ton more debates.
