12/10 Impact LD

All true. And until Hogan fucked things up because of his ego, NO ONE WAS WATCHING THE WWF.

Umm...no. Raw's ratings kept rising and rising and rising through out 1997, and especially in early 1998. WCW was still getting ratings that if the current Raw were to get, we'd all be shitting bricks and saying Raw is the most popular show on TV again.

So X didn't realize I was kidding about the mud match and NSL actually brings up a good point about it.

X, I was trying to make it sound like my criticism of Puro. I got the point of the segment.

The "3 weeks" was a bit hyperbolic, but you got the point. There's only so many they can use, before the well runs dry.

I know. But my point was that there is always jobbers available which would allow them to get rid/replace some of the crappy "wrestlers" like Neal and Deaner.

The Beautiful People had a mud wrestling match because they are sexy and the show is on SpikeTV the men's network. A good way to keep The BP on tv without jobbing them, burying talent, or more Sarita Tara matches.

What was my point? About it being insane to defend them right now?

I'm marking for Jeff Jarrett...What's wrong with me?!

...:headscratch:

That was a thinly veiled criticism of puro? That doesn't make much sense.

Keep the puro discussion for the adults KB :p

I'm kind of digging the Jarrett in the bar segments.

I'm liking these Foley/Jarrett segments, though they must be a bit confusing for people who don't read the internet.

No not an insult of puro. You once said there doesn't have to be a point to every match etc. I was hoping to get that reaction.

Didn't work.

What exactly is wrong with that?

We have no sign of Amazing Red, Taylor Wilde, or Sarita here. Way to showcase the champs...

So, the .5 jump Raw had for the show after Starrcade had nothing to do with the botched ending? Not a thing at all? Riiiight.

This could make the show a mild thumbs up for me. The show hasn't been horrible but rather a letdown given what we've had lately.

Had TNA not been on a decent upswing over the last few months, I wouldn't hate this show so much. Still a 2/10...
