Even on his first WWE match Punk was more over than Gunn at his highest point. It's arguable if he already surpassed him while still in ROH.

It translated very well into WWE if you remember his early ECW reactions, showing there was at least a bit of substance to it. Until his draft he was probably the most popular guy on the show, then came his multiple world title time, SES and THEN we get to 2011 and beyond. The talent was visible from the beginning and evident with the Hardy feud.

Usually the hyping by the WWE machine drives me nuts but I'm loving the Network more and more every time I hear about it. The fact that I can throw on SuperBrawl III and watch Sting vs. Vader at any time I want makes me tingle.

The fact that I knew SuperBrawl III had a main event of Sting vs. Vader without looking it up makes me cringe a bit but that's beside the point.
