After reading the Smackdown/ECW results, I don't think the WWE is changing their storylines that much. All the current feuds wll continue. The only thing different, and not even that different as of the past few weeks, is that we probably won't see Vince on screen for a while. Also, you can almost definatly expect the Wellness Policy be taken more seriously. For two months. After the WWE feels that the bad media attention is all but gone, things will slowly go back to normal. Then again, who knows? How many other main event calabier, currently signed wrestlers have went from Household name, or better yet, "one of, if not, the greatest wrestler alive today", go to a plain old "Murderer"? For the past three days, I refused to call Benoit a murderer, but it has finally sunk in thats what happened.
To answer the threat clearly, there will be a backlash from the media, and expect to see A) some of the roster to begin taking vacations (due to failing upcoming drug tests) and B) expect a few of the injured superstars to return in the next few weeks (HHH, Rey, Kennedy)
