Unique Experience

CM Punk made it known on the last ECW that even though he might not have gold around his waist, he is still the man to beat in the Land of the Extreme. Alongside newly named 2008 Hall of Famer Ric Flair, he disposed of the self-proclaimed “Gold Standard,” Shelton Benjamin and Elijah Burke. Who is next on the Straightedge Superstar’s list of victims? Has ECW Champion Chavo Guerrero fallen off the former champion's radar? Or will he seek revenge for his loss to at No Mercy?

Also on ECW, Colin Delaney suffered another tough loss at the hands of The Miz. Tommy Dreamer rushed to help him fight off attacks by the WWE Tag Team Champions, but The Miz & John Morrison proved to be too much for them to handle. Will Delaney find a way to leave his mark on the ECW roster? Could he be a mainstay?

Stevie Richards rolled to his second consecutive victory since returning to action. The ECW Original has already started to work his way up the ranks of the Land of the Extreme. With even throat surgery not able to stop him, how far will he go?

Find out the answers to all of these questions and more on the next ECW on Sci Fi, Tuesday at 10/9 CT.

Road Tested

The Road to WrestleMania XXIV may prove to be a bumpy one for World Heavyweight Champion Edge. Moments after proclaiming to our fans that he was not afraid of Undertaker and that he would be the man to stop The Phenom’s undefeated WrestleMania streak, the Rated-R Superstar came face-to-face with the No. 1 contender.

Rather than stick around and live up to his words, the Ultimate Opportunist ducked out of the ring and watched as Undertaker demolished Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder. As Edge prepares for his showdown with The Phenom at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Fla., on March 30, will his vow to break “The Streak” leave him in the crosshairs of Undertaker’s fury? Will The Deadman have something to say about his pursuit to reclaim the World Heavyweight Championship?

For the second straight week on SmackDown, Batista defeated United States Champion MVP in non-title action. Both Superstars were bruised and beaten following the Elimination Chamber Match at No Way Out, but The Animal found a way to put down the cocky MVP. What is next for both of these Superstars? Will Batista write his own ticket to WrestleMania XXIV? Can the Ballin’ Superstar bounce back from two consecutive losses to find his A-game again?

Rey Mysterio had hoped that when he addressed his hometown fans about his torn biceps muscle, that he would say his piece and move on to have surgery on his injury. Instead, SmackDown’s General Manager Vickie Guerrero made certain that Rey’s homecoming was one he would never forget when she ordered the former champion to fight ECW Champion Chavo Guerrero.

The night wasn’t over for Rey after defeating Chavo, as Vickie ushered out Big Show, whose mission was to further incapacitate Rey. Show dominated the already- injured Mysterio, taunting the former champion and sending a message to Floyd Mayweather. What is the condition of Rey Mysterio after the assault from Big Show? Will Rey’s friend Floyd Mayweather have anything to say about the attack?

Finally, Shelton Benjamin qualified for the Money in the Bank Ladder Match at WrestleMania XXIV when he defeated Jimmy Wang Yang. Shelton now joins Intercontinental Champion Jeff Hardy and Mr. Kennedy as participants in this year’s match. Will ECW’s “Gold Standard” finally earn his opportunity at a World Title? Who else from Friday night’s will find themselves reaching for gold at WrestleMania? Who will qualify in the coming weeks for this awe-inspiring encounter?

Wow tazz's career has fallen. Going from being a great wrestler and a world champion to trying to act dramatically about a midget wrestler. Sad really.

Ha, Miz got stuck in his shirt.
They really need to let Morrison go on his own. Miz sucks and is just bringing him down.
And for God sakes Elijah Burke is hands down one of THE MOST all-around talented guys on the roster...send him to Raw to feud for the IC title or something.

Love that undertaker video. Then a diva commercial, which until a few weeks ago was true. Now we get kelly and maria. Woo freaking hoo.

Love the constant overhype from wwe. The world is talking about the press conference. THere was a press conference yesterday?
