Your "Wish"

IrishCanadian25

Going on 10 years with WrestleZone
There are so many charitable organizations in the world, but not many are as awesome as The Make-A-Wish Foundation. WWF/E has been a major supporter of the MAWF for decades now, and in the 80's / early 90's, by far the most requested "wish" was to meet Hulk Hogan. Now, if you go onto the MAWF page and check out the Celebrity Hall of Fame, John Cena is on there.

So here's the question, and it's a tough one. If you could make a dying wish to either: a) meet someone, b) do something, c) go somewhere, or d) be something (pilot, police officer, etc.), what would be YOUR wish?

For me, if I had a dying with, I would want to be a competitor on Iron Chef and have one day to just be let loose on kitchen stadium. I'd want a day to cook using their exotic ingredients, the chance to cook along side Masuharu Morimoto and face the likes of Bobby Flay or Hiroyuki Sikai. I'd want my wish to be taped and aired on Foodnetwork.com. I'd also want my recipes to be published in a Food Network cookbook with the stipulation that $1 be donated to the MAWF for every copy sold.

This is a tough topic beause it's a sad one, but reach deep down - what's your wish?

If I had to make a dying wish I think it would be to go somewhere. Most specifically, I would go to Panama. I know, it seems odd that I would want to go to Panama when I could go to Italy, or France, or even Japan. But Panama is where I was born and raised for half of my life. Panama is also where most of my family lives.

I don’t think I could die happy without seeing and saying goodbye to my family. Most of them I haven’t seen in years. Also, I would do things I haven’t done in a long time. Such as eat Panamania ceviche which is probably my favorite food ever.

There a lot of things I would do aside from visiting my family and saying goodbye to them and aside from eating, but that would most likely be my last, dying wish.

Great thread IC.

I want to write a long running sitcom that people watch and say that it's great and could be the greatest sitcom of all time. I love writing and love seeing any work that I've done be shown to everyone. I loved talking on the radio and loved reporting news. The adrenaline of being live on the air and interviewing important people is a rush that's matched by very few things.

I'd want to be remembered as someone that touched lives with my work. Many shows and movies are escapes from reality and telling a story through a show is something I've always wanted to do. I have a pilot written out. I may or may not need to touch up a few things. But that's what my dying wish would be. To be a writer for my own TV show.

I have two very important wishes I'd like to make. see technically I'm not even supposed to be alive so I should be on Make A Wish lol..... anyway here are my "Wishes"

I'm a musician (my main instruments are Saxophone and the Piano)and I learned to read music before I actually was able to actually read. My idols (influences) growing up musically were Billy Joel and Elton John. when I was practicing I would literally try and come up with progressions that were a combination of both musicians. so my wish would most likely be to play on stage with either one of them. and the proceeds for the concert would go to research for cures for heart disease (which I have)

I'm also a big time and I mean BIG TIME wrestling fan. I'd literally be training right now if it weren't for my heart condition and my height (5'4). my wish for that would either be to call a match or two or to manage one of the champions (hence my efed character) I'd also would like to meet Jim Ross because he was one of my favorite (and still is to this day) play-by-play commentators.

You're right, that's an extremely tough question. Honestly, I don't have that many personal goals. The only two major long-term goals I have for my life are to find the right girl for me, and to create the next big RPG series with Division Blade. I'm hoping to be done in 2010 with my playable prototype of Division Blade that I've been making by using the "RPG Maker 2003" software.

So.... assuming I have already finished that prototype by the time this question's scenario is asking about happens.... I would want to take this one step further. My wish would be to get my game remade in its entirety for the Wii/PS3/360 with graphics, cut scenes, soundtrack, and voice overs on par with (or better than) Tales of Symphonia. That could still potentially happen one day, but I do admit I am a little biased when I talk about how great it will be when I finish it.... most people would be biased towards their own creations. That aside though, what I would want more than anything in the world would be to see MY game, characters, and story unfold on a modern console done by professionals, because I'm fully confident it would be the best RPG since Final Fantasy 7. We'll never know, but that is what my dying wish would be, Division Blade would be my legacy that I leave behind to this world.

I've completed all of my personal goals, and everything that I'm doing now are just things for me to get by. But, if I had a dying wish, it'd definitely be appearing in a major film with an ensemble cast, and by that I mean having a small but memorable role. Delivering some brilliant dialogue would be the coolest thing for me at that point.

I'd like to meet Steve Austin, hang out with him for a day and get drunk with him. If I got to hang out with him at his ranch in south Texas, that'd be pretty freaking cool.

My dying wish would be to visit the Eternal City of Rome, preferably with the love of my life (I may die before that happens, haha). I have always wanted to visit there, simply because of its rich history and the beautiful architecture, and awesome ancient statues and landmarks from a unique civilization.

Going there with a significant other would make it that much more special and romantic. I've always been a hopeless romantic, and that would be the ultimate dream of mine. Hopefully I may not have to be near death before it gets to happen.

My dying wish would be a chance to meet Eminem, and have him dedicate one personal song to me. Or to meet Green Day and have them dedicate one personal song to me. Either of the two work. Both Green Day and Eminem have been the greatest musical inspirations to me since I was a little boy. And having them both or atleast one of the two write and compose a personal song to me would mean the world to me! Great thread.

GREEN DAY AND SLIM FOR LYFE!

I've thought of this a lot, actually, and I have two wishes. Either would do:

1) To guest host RAW:
I want to get into wrestling, but I'm not really the athletic type and I'm uncoordinated. I really want to join as a manager or GM, since I'm good at public speaking. I think I'd be able to convince them it would be good publicity.
Really, I just want to be famous, even if it's just for a day, and meet all my favorite wrestlers and appear on TV would be a dream come true for me.

2) To Meet All My Friends:
I have a lot of friends that I've met over the internet. They're the best friends anyone could ask for. I want to see them all, some day, but they're spread around the country. I want to see them, talk to them for real. I talk to them on the phone and by text, but I just want to go out to the mall or to eat, like I'd do with my real life friends.

Mind if I borrow yours to add onto my own?

I've honestly thought about this myself. I hate the guest host idea, but ever since it began I have thought about how cool it would be if (assuming I am done with Division Blade and become famous through that) I got asked to host Raw. I could cut some awesome promos, interact with my heroes, and somehow put over Division Blade in the process.

The central storyline involves a girl getting divided (by the Division Blade itself) into two separate entities, one good, and one evil. I could poke fun at that in a backstage segment involving the Bellas since there are two of them, mention that part of my game's story then I could jokingly ask them "So which one of you is the good one and which one is the evil one"?

I dunno, the possiblities are endless really. If I ever became famous through creating my game(s) then hosting Raw would be incredible because I would get a chance to be onscreen with guys like Cena and Orton, I've thought about this A LOT, which is a little ironic when you take into consideration my hatred of the guest host concept.... definitely gonna add that onto "my wish" though. I want to create a modernized version of my game, and host a Raw episode.

I would want to travel the world. Seeing all the beautiful sites this world has to offer would truly be amazing. To go to Paris, see the Eifle Tower, go to Rome, go to Italy, go to Australia possibly, and go to tons of other places around the globe. I would also like to somehow, someday do something involving wrestling, whether it be a backstage hand, or a cameraman, a techman, a wrestler, a GM, or anything, I just want to do something involving it one day. Right now those would be my dying wishes, well that and to find the love of my life. Other then that, I would just want to die in peace.

Personally, my wish would be to manage Chris Jericho in the main event of Wrestlemania (or whatever pay-per-view was happening at the time) against whoever was the top babyface at the time.

I'd interfere and win the match for Jericho and celebrate with him. Post show we'd go out and eat, drink and mingle with his peers as they often do.

The latter part is something that I've been fortunate enough to have done in the past and it was a real hoot. Meeting guys such as Eddie and Chris Benoit before they died (I was shocked, stunned and deeply hurt with the Benoit murder-suicides) as well as some of the more well known talent that Jericho called family and friends. I'd love another chance to do it again.

Hang out with the Blackhawks players all day before and maybe after a game, and call that game with Pat Foley.

Seriously, hockey is my favorite sport, having overthrown baseball and football last year. The Blackhawks are my favorite team, and it would be amazing to hang out with them. Maybe they catch lunch or something together one day, they definitely crack a ton of jokes on each other. But it would be a fun day all around.

And then to call that game would be amazing, with my idol Pat Foley. In two weeks I will be going to broadcasting school, and hopefully some time down the line I can meet Pat Foley, and become the new voice of the Hawks. I can and will continue to dream. But just to announce a game with Pat Foley would be amazing, and a definite dream come true.

Wow, this is a great thread.

Hmm, it's a really tough question. I think as a guitar player and a passionate musician I'd love to meet and play with either Paul McCartney or Dave Grohl. I'd lean more towards Paul for a real lesson in music but would probably go with Dave simply because I know I would have the funnest time. I'd laugh my ass off, drink beer and probably smoke some dope with the Grohlmeister himself. He's a champion and I'd be totally awe struck.

If I couldn't meet Paul or Dave though I would love to travel to Brazil and see the statue of Christ, it's one of the most amazing things I've seen in pictures and I already want to see it before I die so that would be another wish I would have to contemplate if I were dieing.
