Your Old School Territory Stars.

Occasional Pre-Show
I'll admit I am an old school fan. I remember and enjoy the memories of the territories. Don't get me wrong, I grew up in the 80s and loved the WWF of that day, but man loved the territories so my question to you all is. Who are you old-school stars? I grew up in Alabama and the two territories I remember were CCW later CWF and the Memphis territories so my old school stars were

From CCW (CWF)

"Dirty" Dutch Mantel (now Zeb Coulter)
"Wildcat" Wendell Cooley
The Armstrongs (Brad, Scott, Steve, "Bullet Bob")
Tommy and Johnny Rich
"Doctor" Tom Pritchard
The Dirty White Boy
"Nightmare" Danny Davis
Robert Fuller (Later Col. Parker in WCW/WWF)
Jimmy Golden

Memphis (CWA) (USWA)

Of course Jerry Lawler
Jeff Jarrett
Billy Travis
"Soul Train" Jones (Later Virgil in WWF)
Austin Idol
"Bam Bam" Bigelow
Pat Tanaka
Paul Diamond
"Downtown" Bruno (Later Harvey Whippleman in WWE)

Of course some of these guys went between promotions quite a bit and they later appeared in the WWE and WCW but man lot of great names in those territories. Who did you grow up watcing?

Growing up in Texas at the height of WCCW I would have to say:

The Von Erichs
Bruiser Brody

Gntleman Chris Adams
Playboy Gary Heart
Fabulous Freebirds
Icemen King Parsons
Great Kabuki

I could go on but saturday Nights I would stay up late watching WCCW from The Sportatorium. Great times
