Testicles. That is all.
Does anyone remember this whole Chris Sabin/Dudleys thing?

Here is what I've heard, via Wrestlezone. Apparently, and I'm sure there are posts about this laying around, Chris Sabin was knocked unconscious in a tag match with the Dudleys.

I know this is old news, but it's eating me. So, the Dudlys continue the match and even do moves on Sabin's lifeless body.

If that is, in fact, how it went down, then that's unforgivable. I've been a Dudleys fan for awhile, but I've lost all respect for them.

In any wrestling match, you are always assuming your opponent will take care of you. Your opponent, engaged in this dance, does all he can to protect you and himself.

When Randy Orton went down with a bad shoulder injury, HHH treated him with kid gloves and went home as fast as he could on a PPV. That's because HHH is a pro.

How can anyone in the wrestling industry, not us, on the inside, excuse this? How can the Dudleys not get suspended or fired? If wrestling had a bible, this would be the first commandment. PROTECT YOUR OPPONENT.

I don't blame Kevin Nash. I wouldn't have blamed Sabin if he sued. Of course, the whole case would have been explaining to a mark judge what is and what is not real in wrestling, and, Sabin would probably never have his contract renewed, but still!

If it went down as reported, I have lost all respect for Bubba and Devon. Selfishness and unprofessionalism to the extreme. No wrestler should agree to enter the ring with them again.

A disgrace, and a total disregard for this kid's safety. Why? Because he's just a kid who really hasn't made it big yet? Bullshit! Taker wouldn't have done this. HHH wouldn't have done this. Shawn wouldn't have. They would have gone home faster than a diabetic who forgot their insulin.

The Dudleys should be barred from wrestling, and everyone on the roster should flatly refuse to work with them. Fat fucks.

Uh, if I remember correctly they did lay off of him until HE started getting back into the match, if I remember correctly Sabin decided to finish out the match as best he could. Injuries are going to happen, mistakes are going to be made but from what you're saying a single mistake like this should cost them noth only their jobs but also their careers? I just dont agree with that at all, I dont even think they should have gotten suspended, I also dont think Nash should have, this was just a series of unlucky incidents leading up to it being blown way out of proportion.

Hey, call me cynical, but the wrestling federations generally only let you see and hear what they want you to see and hear. Perhaps Nash just wanted a few weeks off, and this was how they explained it. We don't really know if this is how it went down, it's merely one of the many wrestling rumors we see pop up everyday. If the dudley's truly were harmful they would eventually lose their jobs.

Angelina Love got knocked out by Taylor Wilde one time. Stuff happens, and then they try to make the best of it that they can. We'll see how things turn out. Also, it might just be a coincidence, but a little after that news came out, the Dudley's turned heel again so it really might be them screwing with the news smarks.

It was also said that Sabin's history of overselling made 3D think he was ok.

You are way past opinion and boardering on hate speech towards 3D. Really that "fat fucks" line was completely uncalled for and if you really "lost all respect" for them as you said.... how much respect did you ever have for them? Do you know what respect really even is?

This has almost become a mute point. Mainly because Nash is back, no one seems to have ill-will and life in TNA goes on. (And trust me, Sabin can work anywhere he wants so not getting his contract renewed for suing wouldn't be that big a deal. Guarantee he's not making anything close to life changing money.)

Use all that anger, go to home depot, buy some timber, build a bridge and get over it.

From what I heard, 3D worked their spots as normal with no regard for Sabin's health. That's why Nash went wild backstage and cut a live promo on them in the ring. I assume that's why the finish was Shelley causing Devon to tap out to a single leg boston crab.

This whole debacle proves what we all knew. 3D are bullies and poor workers because they don't work with their opponent and that causes a risk to everyone.

Everyone! Stop...Rewatch the match.

Done?

OK...Did you see the move in question? Bubba planted Sabin, and was facing away, and was in no position to see how Sabin landed. Sabin also has a history of overselling moves (i.e. the knee to the gut earlier in the match where he somersaulted). He rolled away, and Shelley came in. Shelley worked the rest of the match, until the closing minute or so, and Sabin injected himself into the action. If they thought he was hurt, and he came in on his own, then it would be his fault for getting involved.

I don't see the problem. 3D didn't know, Sabin came back on his own, and there's too many factors to say 3D knew he was hurt, and whipped on him anyway.

I have heard that an entire sequence of moves with Bubba and Sabin got cut from TV. This is while Sabin was unconcsious and was in no position to defend himself or work the match. I think this is where the problem is.

Sabin's ability to sell or otherwise should not affect Bubba's decision to work with him the way he did.

If a sequence is cut, then there's no point in anyone debating this. We don't know if Bubba was punching and kicking him, or if they went all out and connected with a 3D, a few chair shots, and put him through a flaming table wrapped in barbwire.

Sabin's ability to sell or otherwise should not affect Bubba's decision to work with him the way he did.

I think it should. If you're in the ring with someone who routinely oversells moves, how can you tell what's an oversell, and what's legit? If he had seen how Sabin landed, he would have seen what we saw, and figured he oversold the move, flipping himself over on impact. But, he didn't. He did the move, and then saw Sabin laying there.

I believe the ref in the match was Hebner. He's experienced enough to know if something is bad, and when to call a match. If he thought Sabin was in serious danger, he would have rang the bell, and it would have been done with.

i agree with this topic. the dudleys should have made sure sabin was safe and finished the match quickly. But i guess the dudleys don't care becauise they think everyone should be tough like how everyone was in ECW. and oh yeah, i might be going off topic , but if this happened in the wwe, there would tons of bitching about it no matter what.

Moderator's Comment: I deleted everything that went way off-topic...No warning because he started on topic.
