There we go, no that that's outta the way, I have had this notion for quite some time now. It would be pretty great if we had a chat feature here no?

Now I know I don't run this site, Slydog and KBoi do, and they would have to deal with it if such a feature is undertaken. So maybe I should put it to vote. Sorta push them into pondering over it whilst they munch on their ridiculously delicious Southern cooking.


Countless votes that will have no value at the end of the day...just so you don't get your hopes up.

What would be nice is having something like "friends" and "live chat" enabled, to interact with aforementioned friends. But that would require functionality I'm not even sure Sly and KB could implement if they wanted to. I think that would be nice. Mostly because I dislike the message system, and sometimes I don't want to talk to somebody in front of the entire forum.

Forum embedded chats are usually bad for the health of the forums in general, I have found in the past. Either that or no one uses them. Either way, kind of useless.

Not only that but it's just one more constant thing to load for those with slower internet and/or mobile users who don't fuck with the mobile version of the site. I'm neither of those, but it's something to consider as well.
