Surely such a betrayal could provide the catalyst for more than one RP.

Confused and shocked Titus lying in the ring after, questioning what had happened. Perhaps even questioning why he did not see it coming. It was Showtime David Cougar after all. Maybe we see Titus questioning his future.

Then the showdown with Showtime at Apocalypse reignites the fire in him and the man we have heard legends about.

You can but wouldn't that be considered lazy/plagiarism (unless you have permission)? An adaptation, however, I would imagine to be 100% acceptable.

As lazy as booking an in ring promo for a PPV.

I've put the fire in four PPV matches in a row, didn't get me anywhere.

What do you guys feel is the hardest match to set up, RP for and write?

Like, has there ever been an Iron Man Match? If yes, how did you guys handle how people RP'd, as surely I believe just one RP probably can't fully fill out the scope of who should win an Iron Man, right? If no, why has it not been tackled?

There has been two Iron Man Matches to my knowledge - Austin Reynolds vs Showtime and Constantine vs Showtime.

I don't think there was anything different done with RPs. Just one each and the Creative team wrote the match.

The hardest to RP for is when there's no outcome determined.

The other is someone you've no history with, a throwaway match (see titus v the beard).

I know I haven't competed in one, or even gotten to the point to be able to write an excellent one, but from what I've gauged from looking at RP's earlier this week, the Lethal Lottery ones definitely seem to have the most effort put in.

It's also a huge amount of work for Creative of course.

Depressed Titus could be interesting if it has not been done before.

Him going to meet all his past opponents looking for answers as to why he has stumbled in recent months could be fun and would give you a round of RPs.

One of my past opponents will be in KFAD, the other is in a plane crash and Vega is the other.

Hardest RP's for me are the matches with no build up and that, especially as I am focusing more on the happenings in the fed as opposed to my own little stories. So yeah, I am pretty shocked I've come this far with the Elite X Title.

For me, it is not actual matches that are difficult. It is opponents that are difficult.

As Lee suggests, someone who your character has no history, no connection, nothing in common with or diametrically opposed to can make a large section of your RP very difficult.

Also the sheer quality of your opponent can make you try so hard that the creative spark just is not there.

Huh, I would have guessed that an Iron Man would have been two RPs at minimum since it's an hour long match (usually) and there's so many fall potentials.

Has a Royal Rumble been done?

I have the opposite because people up their game against me so I have to do more than normal and sometimes I just appreciate a throw away tag match.

Lethal Lottery is the Royal Rumble.

Interestingly enough there was a two fall triple threat match with two huge prizes in which each person had to make two RP's for. Probably one of my favorite matches in the Fed.

Not a problem I've really encountered until recently, as most of my RP's pre challenging for the Elite X title rarely focused on the fed or my match, and if they did it was more stuff with Barbosa than it was with any opponents. Apart from various feuds of course, the biggest of which was probably against... Barbosa

That's why, now and then, I've been adding small references to Ramparte in my play, and touching on the tag match Jon had with Corvus to try to keep them in the rolodex a bit, just so I don't go in cold later on. I also am trying to use those references (in the future) to help create something for opponents that I've never touched. If that makes any lick of sense.

And we won neither of them!

I thought the World title shot was yours, the whole chasing Ty angle for all three of those guys was glorious. Seemed to work out for the best though.

Oh, am I missing a section of info somewhere then that has a listing of what all the PPV/Matches are? I've looked around a bit for more info on people, like looking over the roster, perusing move sets and such, but I may have missed quite a bit.
