Ramparte having anything to do with The Angel would be awesome in my opinion.

Also I like how DarksideEric and I both came into this around the same time and have polar opposite characters making their debut with one another. Can't wait to see how everything unfolds.

Has anyone answered this? If not I'm gonna make a power call and say yes to Angel since FWR has been deadwooded, but Thrash just happened to no show then drop off the internet so no to him. Shouldn't be hard to think up an annoying try hard rock star NPC though should you ever need it.

I still want to form that Hard Christian Rock tag team that they fell threw on, they could have risen to their true potential with that gimmick.

Kermit and I were having a chat shortly after I got onto creative and we wanted to push for a 3MB stable with Thrash in the Slater role, but Thrash insisted he was a serious character.

Your sig reminds me, after they knocked off Ball State( :( ) NIU should run the table in the MAC. Chances Kevin Kelly shits on them in BCS talk again?

He only got cunty because they played Florida State (his alma mater) in the Orange Bowl and I called him out when he was talking out his ass about NIU not deserving to be on the same field as FSU.

Reading Ramparte's application, the first thing I thought about was a feud culminating in like a hardcore match or something.

Well, with the upcoming abolishment of our fed's resident hardcore division, any matches taking place in these "hardcore" rules will add that much more appreciation to the readers since, I'm assuming, there won't be as many Mayhem (hardcore) matches as we see now. It'll also add appreciation to other gimmick matches and not force writers to create weird spots (or re-create old spots over and over) and save them for those matches.

It is. Aftershock is being replaced by a special, One Last Stand: Total Mayhem. Vega and Red Mask will square off to retire the title, then the rest of the card is populated with guys with ties to the Mayhem division....plus Beard and Stormrage.

That is a feud that needs to happen in the future.

Should have happened years ago. Is it getting replaced with a different title, or are we condensing things down?

Seconded.

Since day one of joining creative, I've been an advocate of removing one singles championship (specifically the Elite X) because 5 separate titles was too much (IMO), even during the Kingdom Come 4 season where we had 3 pages full of wrestlers on the roster pages.

Four years later, my dream has partially come true. The amount of titles we have now is a good amount and since there aren't any terrible RPers in the fed any more, there is no need for a "low-card" title. But, I won't lose any sleep should another title come into the fold.

My biggest issue with the Mayhem title has always been, how do you top it?

Its kinda like the Saw films. It's like, eventually you run out of cool ideas and you just start A) recycling old ideas or B) come up with extreme almost impossible ideas that turn people off. It was like that when writing spots for Mayhem matches. Plus it takes away the epicness of violent matches between two actual rivals when you throw two random dudes into the ring and give them chairs and kendo sticks.

It reminds me of the time I wrote either Alex Bowen or Steamboat Ricky biting the other's ear and ripping off a chunk during the Stairway to Hardcore match because I wanted to make it feel gory and intense.

Sure, that was probably a step over the line but I couldn't think of anything else to write as a spot.

I got a couple Mayhem spots I hold dearly for my character.

1. Throwing Drake Callahan off a gigantic ladder on the outside with a front facing X Plex into the ring through a table.

2. Hitting Consecrated Banishment and kicking a barbed wire bat right into Alex Bowen's face when we had our World Champ vs. Mayhem Champ match.

Mayhem peaked with Wunderbar vs Jones. When the coolest spots were actually smart moves, not yardtard gutter trash wrestling.
