WZCW Discussion Thread

And the average quality of RPs will be much higher this time.

All true, but at this point in time all I've really got is running down my opponents. I've got a decent idea of how to tie it all together and further my story but I've got no confidence in winning (but then again, I'd much rather not win. Dealing with SHIT does not fit into my plans).

* Justin Cooper & Dr Coberer have made it clear (one way or another) that winning this match simply won't be on their radar and they won't care too much if they lose. So, they're gone.

This guy gets it!

Justin Cooper: Does Justin Cooper have anything to prove here? POssibly yes. How many of you remember the cup of coffee that was his title reign? I certainly didn't until thinking about it, and I consider my capacity for general WZCW knowledge to be fairly vast. If he can sit himself down and hammer out something that talks about how he needs to regain the gold to validate and cement himself as a player, then I think he may well be on course not only for a win here, but also a second Elite X reign.

This guy not so much.

About to begin my rough draft, HOPEFULLY getting the rough draft done tonight and into Kermit's inbox for advice on it by time I go to bed. That depends on how long music can keep me awake tonight though.

Legitimate question: how did this fixation with beating Austin Reynolds start?

Smark answer is that I think Austin Reynolds sucks and has only ever achieved success because he was given opponents he could beat.

Legitimate answer is that Reynolds has been called the greatest champion of two divisions whilst holding the title (Elite X and Tag Team). His Elite X reign is built around three PPV matches with Chris Beckford and the Tag Title reign was at a time when the division was horrible. The length of his reigns were the only thing people focused on and they ignored how weak his challengers were. Basically Reynolds was given more credit than he deserved. I didn't think he was any good and yet he still got to be the main focus of shows.

Another reason is that beating certain guys has a lot more value than winning a title to me. Elite X means nothing to me anymore and I would rather someone like Dustin Hunter get the shot than me. Reynolds, Kurtesy, Holmes, Everest (who stole everything from my RP), Barbosa, Bowen and Celeste are all people who would get more attention from me than a title shot.

EDIT: Numbers is cool though. :)

This guy. He knows his stuff.

In all seriousness though as much as I'd like to win the battle royal, I'd rather see someone like Izzy, Grizzly Bob or Fallout win as I think if any of them brought their A game they could stand a chance at winning the belt where as I don't think I could.

Don't sell yourself short!

You've turned 180 degrees and then another 360!

You can't sing or dance, but you can make romance, yeah. There's a fork in the middle of the road, Chris KO said go left, you said go right and you went right. There on that lonesome highway you told Azazel to bow down, 'cause you're goin' straight to the top! The stars, yeah, the stars. KO's goin' left, you're goin' right! No more questions!

I'm looking forward to it. I'm not taking it seriously in the slightest. Both ny All star RP should be fun to read and I don't care about the outcome.
