I have a funny D&D story. I've only played a handful of times so forgive me if I use a term incorrectly, but the 2nd or 3rd time I played I was with some guys who play fairly often, there were four of us plus the DM. In game we entered this room that is pitch black, save a hole in the ceiling shining light down onto a bowl in the center of the room, which the DM described as a bowl filled with a black viscous liquid. One of the guys just yells out, "I drink it."

Turns out it was oil we were supposed to use to light a lantern to read an inscription on the wall. I forget what he had to do but after his roll his character ends up crazy sick with extremely decreased stats, so eventually we left him behind in some random room while the rest of us went in search of an alternate light source.

Did he die and have to make a new character?

I do, mostly roleplaying decks. Dangan Mafia is really fun.

I played with a wrestling deck once and it was hilarious. Vince McMahon kept getting guns and killing random people.

Nice, I'll have to check those out. The only web comic I really ever followed was 8 bit theater, I never got around to looking for another to read after it ended.

Well, in my RP news, mine's almost done, kinda sorta. With no wifi at the apt I've been working at a library, but feel quite good about it. I also like the idea of hickory dickory dock as Zeus' catchphrase of sorts
