Spoiler: That's what Daggershield will roll for an action that fails, having an impact on whatever he's doing. Hopefully it's not a critical fail. That's a thing, right?![]()
Okay, so it's 9am over here. Pretty sad - I'm in a bar in the middle of nowhere and they only serve coffee and the coffee machine takes half an hour to start up. All this for a game we'll probably piss away anyway...
Depends on the action. If you're rolling to see if your attack hits and you roll a 1, some DM's consider the rule of you just hit yourself, so yes critical misses/fails are a thing. And no, that's not it.
You're less predictable than I expected. Good for you.
He rolled a Wisdom check and passed. That or bluff
Holy shit I'm such a nerd
I was thinking the numbers were too low for a pass. Also, my only experience of DnD/Tabletop Gaming comes from Order of the stick and Darths and Droids (fuck DM of the rings).

When I DM a 1 on an attack roll is a fumble. The players then get a chance to stop it going horribly wrong but then they roll to see what happens, from dropping their weapon to DM's choice
You don't want DMs choice. It could be any horrible thing short of you died.

Dagger, what you could consider next time is to hype it up, maybe even create a poll, in the wzcw.com section.
My only experience is Munchkin, which if anyone has played here, is an extremely fun game.
My wife loves it. We once played it at a party and there were 12 people all playing Munchkin. It lasted 4 hours! It's an insane game and can be pretty fun.
It really is, but it does offer for people that would get lost in all the elements of D&D (I whole admit I couldn't handle a full D&D game...)
I also love how it usually ends with everyone screwing each other over. My friends and I played, and when one reached level 9, he drew a level 20 Plutonium Dragon. We all screwed him over, he got roasted and eaten, and had to start all over.
He did not win that game
