As I've said, I'm always flattered by it. I think it's, what, four people who have mimicked it now?

I know Sandy did it partially, Tastic I think did it, Vega did (not against me), and Ace Stevens. It's really kind of cool, and I totally think Remix can pull it off.

But it's a different style. I learned the hard way this week that first person with Zeus doesn't work for me, which gives me great respect for anyone doing first person

I'm flattered as well. ;)

Sandy never did it. The only thing I did with Sandy was use the lyrics to Mister Sandman by the Chordettes for the KC RP. I'm also not going to do it when Kurtesy kicks your arse.

Ha! I have you all beat by two years.

I'm reading an article about video game easter eggs and urban myths, and since there's a few bronies on here, I was wondering if anyone ever played the Luna game?

Never heard of it. But there is a MUGEN engine themed on it and in the Injustice: Gods Among Us comic, Wonder Woman calls Ares the "God Of Ponies".

Well here's a video of the "game"

If you're playing that, and you don't know what it is, that would terrify you.

cracked.com?

I started on Cracked, but then I just googled Video Game Urban Legends. There is some stuff out there was more fucked up than anything they show on Cracked. Like this:

The story is someone was given a copy of Sonic 3 by a friend with a label saying "Sonic.exe" and that video is what the game is. Obviously, it was a hacked copy but, again, imagine playing that when you're not expecting it. The full backstory is a lot creepier, too.

Isn't the Luna game where you play for like 5 to 10 seconds and the screen turns to horrific pictures of the Cutie Mark Crusaders, eerie music and you cannot shut down the program?

Creepiest one I can remember is the "haunted" Majora's Mask cartridge.

Ben drowned. That's a good one.

Also, the hidden pictures in the Gameboy Camera are terrifying. When I was like 8 I remember wanting to get the Gameboy Camera for Christmas. That would've scarred me for life...

As a kiddo I was scared shitless by Clive Barker's Undying. I hope I'm nearly in the right ballpark.

Undying is a scary game. But these are hacks, glitches and easter eggs that make family friendly into fucking nightmares. When you play a horror game, you expect to be scared. When you're playing Sonic, and you find yourself playing a level where Sonic chases and kills Tails in some version of hell, that is way worse.

sonic.exe is pretty creepy too

When I first created Zeus, I actually wanted to implement a notion that he would have therapy sessions with children by having them play corrupt games. Pokemon Black (the alleged game boy version) always scared me, and I wanted to base a feud off it with Grizzly Bob.

Or, maybe Saboteur...

I just read the story of Pokemon Black. That's way more creepy than any horror game, because Pokemon itself is usually so innocent...

There is a guy who did an investigation into creepy Pokemon lore on youtube. It was a surprisingly entertaining found footage like series, but really disturbing.

Dude, Lavender Town alone is probably more nightmare material than anything else. Lost Silver is fascinating, as well. I may actually add some YouTube videos to my RP's if the time is right.
