Now that I've got a day off and time to reply I'd like to take a little time to give the shows the attention they deserved. I thought this was another strong round for all 3 shows, especially Ascension and Aftershock. With the characters and story lines going on with those two shows, the quality is probably as good as I've ever seen it in my short tenure here. I'm very much into the Saboteur vs Holmes/Crimson feud, and have found myself rooting for Ricky Runn as I read through his match (no offense, Yaz). After his shocker over Shotaro last week, I just really wanted to see him keep going.
I was personally totally fine with the Tastic "pipe bomb" and turn... I thought it made a lot of sense and hope it leads to big things. Him winning the fatal four match next week would be perfect for his character... but of course, here in WZCW even the best laid plans of mice & men...
Krypto vs Runn is just so much yes. So much of it. That's gonna be awesome to read. That could be so much more than just a final four match, that could be another hilarious feud for Krypto.
Loved the ending to Aftershock with Kurtesy. I don't know too much about him, but obviously I've gathered that he's a big deal and I'm eager to see him face Zeus, which I'm pretty sure, will happen at Redemption. Wasabi's coked out promo was pretty funny.
Honestly, my one and only critique would be that I don't think the Showtime/Barbosa feud hasn't hit full speed yet... but with the tag match scheduled this round, I'm sure it'll happen at the next show. I think things are shaping up very nicely for myself and Titus... and although I think something should have happened between Vega & Titus at Ascension after he cost me my match at Meltdown, I'm not too irked by it.
Oh, and Corvus beat Sexton in my eyes, too... I'm with Kermit 100% about the Batman jokes... they felt very forced. I didn't laugh or chuckle or anything. In fact, I found the names of the Mexican Promoter & Wrestlers exponentially funnier than any of your Batman jokes. Burrito IV & 4, and Murcielago... that legitimately made me laugh. However, as a whole, the RP was just, weird. Maybe you'll go somewhere with this "mysterious man" who apparently is just filming a documentary? I don't know. All I know is Corvus' RP was easy to follow, conveyed a palpable tone and feeling, and villainized Sexton to the point that I legitimately bought him wanting to extract Justice. Sexton calling himself the true hero of WZCW made absolutely no sense to me.
Seriously, use the feedback thread or ask creative for some input. Nobody is out to get you in this fed, so just stop with the douchebaggery and take your losses as a means to improve.
