I would argue my character is a little more like The Riddler, but I could see that. I also know I'm getting your best shot, so I'm excited to see how this comes out for me.

Blade's right on this one. I felt he gave some really good critiques. Mainly that character text in black is never a good idea, some of the jokes may have been a little dated, and at the end of the day, I'm not sure what got advanced. It was solid, but Corvus also has something with this gimmick. Buck up, buckaroo; it's just a loss, and no one makes it through this fed without one.

Honestly man I agree with this. There's been plenty of times I ddn't agree with something, and a simple PM to creative got me the explination that I needed. You lost. Big deal. This match was my first singles win since may of LAST YEAR.
You win some, you lose some. As long as you don't come off like a whiny bitch, you'll be ok. Just PM creative and they'll give you the answer you want.

Since you want to inquiry in a public fashion, I will respond to you as so.
First off, let me get this out of the way. I didn't do much voting this round as I had a family emergency that I had to attend to. However, I did read your match thread and I can give you a few reasons why your RP was not voted over Corvus.
- You call meeks out on being over-the-top, but your RP is painfully trying to beat batman references over our heads for no reason what-so-ever. Oh wait, I get it. Corvus is like a vigilante so you are going to put a bunch of lame references to poke fun at him when he is never even going to see them as a character? Okay?
- Because of the mentioned fact above and other instances, you fall into a common rookie trap. Your RP feels forced in certain areas. The core of your RP where you reflect on your past is solid, but then by the end, oh wait it's another lame batman reference.
- Another thing, your character is suppose to be a sleeze-ball womanizer, but this Rp doesn't convey that all. You mention it maybe, once or twice in passing? You talk about taking risks in life and almost come across as a face in instances. In your mind you probably thought he would say certain things one way, but you have to remember that we can't understand how he is saying lines of dialogue. He could be saying them in a cocky fashion, but if you don't convey that with subtext, how can we ever know?
- Moving on to why Corvus' RP was better than yours. He ran a consistent theme, dove into backstory, thought up a logical beef for why his character would want to take you down, and did it all in a well-written manner that flowed. Oh, and he didn't have any lame batman references.
I'm sure there are probably other reasons why some others might have voted him over you, but there are a few from my point of view. Also, if you plan to stick around here, I suggest you consider these few things.
1.) The Ceative team is built up of 7 of the best minds in WZCW. We vote with no bias going into a match. If we did, I guarantee something like the final four of the gold rush tournament would look a lot different. The 7 guys earned their spot on creative through hard work and being mature enough to vote responsibly. Think about that next time before you openly call BS and act like a dick because you lost a fictional match.
2.) Don't let it get to you. I lost a match to a guy who was heel, but rped at a face once. Losses happen and if you have a problem, PM one of us instead of openly griping about it. In fact, that method is addressed in our rule book.
