I had a lot to say about being ineligible for the Gold Rush tournament, especially because out of all the current champions, I feel I'm still the one with the most to prove... but enough discontent has been voiced by others and I'd honestly have nothing different to add. I am, however, a little surprised, and also humbled to a certain extent, that a number of people here spoke up on my behalf. I'm rarely a main focus around here, but it's nice to see I'm not the only one that thought I could have done some damage in the tournament. I was looking forward to some of the matches I'd have in the tourney, but I'll trust in creative and what JGlass said about my level of competition.

I would actually like a crack at Vega, to be honest. That's my priority, provided I don't qualify for the Gold Rush Tournament.

I have made it one of my goals for the cycle to make sure you get a proper feud. If everything goes my way, you'll be facing some terrific competition this round. Former world champion terrific. I don't want to get your hopes up because it might not happen, but that's what I'm angling for.

See, now I feel like an idiot, but when people (yes, me) are told that they're being left out of something and the only real explanation is "well, we want you to defend what you've got because integrity" you can see why eyebrows were raised, it made it look like a punishment for doing well. Oh well, at least I didn't call anyone a cunt.

I can understand frustration with being left out of the tournament because you have a title, it feels like punishment for accomplishment. However, it's kind of embarrassing to complain about it. At least that would be my viewpoint for it. This is the same problem in the wwe. There doesn't seem to be much interest, even from the champions themselves, about what these titles can/should/could mean.

If I was a champion, I'd be content with the fact that ultimately one person will win that tournament. Only one. While I would be a champion. Obviously on the radar and looking to carry whatever title I had, making people step their game up to take it from me.

The victory at Kingdom Come puts Vega at the top of the list in my opinion. Had he lost then it would be totally different but the victory makes him the greatest champion ever.
