If I were a booker (and I'm not), I'd make this a tournament where Blade had to facade his demons to advance. First Izzy, then Zeus, then another opponent who gives him hell

It'd be awesome if we did cross paths in the tournament. It's only been a month since we've first faced, but we've both still improved and got a better grip of our characters.

Admittedly, if I write this RP that I'm so excited about and you win, I'll be so disappointed. It'll be like my title shot against Big Dave all over again.

So I've been hearing complaints of four of our top RP'ers (if I may be so bold) aren't going to be in the tournament and how this is punishment for them. That's simply not the case.

The Elite X title is about to get an exciting new twist that will give the title holder a unique opportunity to jump to the main event if they are able to prove themselves as champion. The Mayhem belt is also going to be getting a huge storyline in the future and Vega will certainly be rewarded for his work and his success. Kermit is quite proud of the Eurasian belt and we have plans to make it continue to increase in prestige after a great feud between K.O. and Titus. And lastly, Saboteur is going to have his hands full with a pretty hot feud going into Redemption.

Yes, we are going to be missing four guys that definitely have the potential to kick some ass in the tournament, but let's not forget that guys that will still be in there. James Howard, Celeste Crimson, Sam Smith, Blade, Izzy Stone... that's just a sample of people that have a great shot at winning this tournament and earning a title shot.



This has been proposed twice in creative, and I still think it's ridiculously dumb. First of all, we shouldn't have to tax our champs for entry into the tournament. Secondly, under this model the winner of the tournament is going to wind up with every title if they're always on the line. And thirdly, that takes away from the nature of the tournament. You don't enter this tournament and get a title shot by luck: you enter this tournament and get a title shot by earning it after putting together a string of wins and being the last man standing.



I understand why people are a little skeptic about what we're going to do about the other titles, but we on creative have it under control. We could just dump our entire plan on the table for you to see, but with the scale of the changes we have planned, we'd like to keep some things under wrap until we're able to implement them.

See, now I feel like an idiot, but when people (yes, me) are told that they're being left out of something and the only real explanation is "well, we want you to defend what you've got because integrity" you can see why eyebrows were raised, it made it look like a punishment for doing well. Oh well, at least I didn't call anyone a cunt.

Or just about every character anyway.

Here's a little taste of what's in the works.

Eurasian: Making the belt into a prestigious title that's worthy of being the second most important title in the company.

Elite X: A total revamping of the title that will give the title holder a chance to jump directly into a feud for the World Heavyweight Championship.

Mayhem: An angle that's going to see Vega get a serious step-up in the level of his opponents.

Tag titles: A feud with secret partners and serious competition.

We have some huge matches in the works for Redemption and some major changes coming as well. I'm super excited for some of these ideas, and I think you all should be as well.
