When I say word count I mean it in terms of reading length, also how long the RP feels. Unless I'm talking about something being done excessively, which is specifically what I was doing in your feedback.

You weren't the only person to tell me that the RP was too long. You just did far more in depth analysis then I ever cared to see. If anything, your feedback was more entertaining then what I manage to post in my RP.

I'll agree to disagree with some points being made. JGlass got it right though, don't worry about the length of the RP, if it works and flows doesn't matter. Keep them hooked on what their reading.

Investment is also required though, a factor some are letting slip by. You're more inclined to pay attention to a long RP if you have a genuine interest is what is going on.

I can't read a long RP unless the writer is talking about my character. And even then I just skip to the parts where I'm mentioned.

Quality > Quantity in the end, though. Never doubt your RP isn't good enough just because it doesn't look long enough. If you feel it satisfies you, then it should be good enough.

Steamboat Ricky's shaving RP almost won a match he was involved in and that was like two sentences long. As long as the RP keeps the reader engaged, you're good to write forever if you really wanted to... but I don't know if I could read a million word RP though...

I just realised something - Meltdown 100 and Ascension 75 will be occurring within the same week. I can only imagine those two shows to be absolutely massive... not as big as Kingdom Come V though...
