Mine was 3,100 words+ this round, which is long for me.

If your RP feels long, then it's probably too long and could do with so editing.

It's not really about how long your RP is, but what you did with it.

That's what I mean about it feeling long.

If writing it feels fluid and fast because it's full of good stuff, regardless of the word count, then it's not too long at all.

Absolutely. I'd rather read a more concise RP than one that drags on, just for the sake of fitting in some (mostly) unnecessary details.

It depends of the definition of "drag on" as long as it flows well, even a 6000 word RP is not long. On the flip side I've read 1000 word RP's that flowed so badly to point where I was skipping dialogue and some descriptions.
