No I really wasn't. I'll just go fade away. I'm sorry for trying my best. I'm sorry for the year long world title reign. I'm sorry for putting so much effort into WZCW and for everyone to hate with what I tried to do. I'm sorry for getting in the way of everyone. I'm sorry for not being over the top and making comedic characters. I'm sorry for just trying to tell the story I wanted to tell with my characters. No one cares for that story so maybe I just need to take that story and tell it elsewhere where maybe someone will enjoy it.
I've been drinking but even without whiskey in me I have the feeling I shouldn't be part of WZCW anymore. I tried writing all these cool spots in my part of the LL and all we get is oh another creative member won. I don't fucking care anymore. If my effort is just going to get ignored and Harthan's brilliant piece gets brought down just because he's on Creative then I have no want or desire to be a part of this anymore. And for me bringing back a character that I have spent years developing only to get shit on because it was expected means my characters should just go away. They don't need to be here anymore and neithet do I if mu efforts and the effort of the team I've been a part of for years is boiled down to playing bias then fuck it. I'll go. I won't deal with it anymore. So let me get out of the way for everyone else. I'll take my story somewhere else since that will make everyone else happy.
Err, what? Only reason anybody was dissapointed with Burna is because it means the end of El Califa, a character I was growing to love. I don't know how you managed to turn this all back on you, I've never seen a serious criticism of you, ever, and if there's a character I never have and never will grow bored of its a Ty Burna character. No offense to Drake or Holmes but you put the same amount of descriptive writing in your RP's and I've never once found them dull, pretentious or written as though they were entirely made to win a match. If Dragon is gone and Ty is back, believe me I'll still be an avid reader.
I also don't see where this talk of "everybody should be comedic" has come from, I think you might be over-exaggerating comments made about "first name last name wrestlers" who's RP's consist of them training and saying what holds they are going to apply. The best wrestlers in real life wrestling have always had characters, beer swilling redneck, arrogant Hollywood douche, you don't have to be funny, just be
somebody, be somebody worth reading, which is a problem Ty Burna characters have never had, believe me.
I thought the stare down between us in the Lottery was perfectly done, with Barbosa coming in as well, you've always been very generous to S.H.I.T as a match writer anyway though, to the point I get the feeling that some others just want him out of the way. There, that's my biggest and only criticism of you, you might be TOO generous that it makes your cohorts look bad.
As far as creative bias, sorry for making a comment that turned out to be accurate, it was a direct and maybe a little bit douchey response to a Falkon attempt to be funny about creative bias, because I had a good idea of the winner at that point (calculated from match results previously) there obviously isn't enough wink faces in the world.
You clearly voted Drake, I thought he was a deserving winner but probably wouldn't have voted him top RP'er, matter of subjective quality I suppose, but I won't argue with the decision.
I don't think you can criticise people like myself for wanting one of the new faces that were borderline there and being dissapointed that they didn't quite make it. Especially considering the hefty Drake/Showtime feud earlier in the year. Odd part in all that is that Ty could waltz back into the ME scene right now and stay there forever and I'd find it entertaining. I don't think you can criticise my reaction when a creative member makes a comment about there being a lack of ME faces and I look and mine and Barbosa's recent record and think "what?" Sometimes, when I read the shows and see our lack of activity, add in people talking about contenders, I feel overlooked, I am sure a lot of others feel the same. Truth be told that's an issue I've never had with you.
Sober up, read this post and realise we all love you, sometimes jokes get taken too far by the maker and the recipient, and other times people just need to vent because Rush came
so close but still didn't break that glass ceiling. The fact that people say what they say and even start fantasy booking shows a level of investment that I'd never have expected to see in an e-fed.
