I'll listen to that Wizard christmas song whenever its on, and "a fairy tale of new york" by the Pogues, outside of that christmas music can go fuck itself. And so can that cunt Rick Astley.

The supershow is scheduled for Sunday, right? I threw that in my RP as an arbitrary date, I want to know if it's right, lulz.

Sorry to hear about the Christmas music problems. I hope this can alleviate some of the hardship:

I live in rural Indiana, 80% of the radio stations are country, which means they blame country covers of Christmas music. I'm glad I have a car dock my my iPod. Goodbye Toby Keith and George Straight, hello Elliott Smith and Conor Oberst.

I love having a local metal radio station near where I live... not many Christmas songs. Then again, I have yet to hear a Christmas song on mainstream radio. They don't come onto the radio until a few days before on some major radio stations. Most of them continue along normally and only play the Xmas songs if they are a hit that year.

When you consider that over the years music has had Beethoven, Wagner, The Beatles and David Bowie, I still cant get over that people will listen to stuff which seems to consist of people thrashing their guitars as hard and loud as possible while screaming like a Woman in childbirth into a microphone

We posting metal songs up? This ain't Metal Christmas music but I will shamelessly plug my friends' band Frosthelm that just released their first EP this week.

Indy FTW. You going to Survivor Series?

I hate bad dubstep. There is so much overlap between the different electronic genres that I can't seriously say I dislike dubstep. A great dubstep song has a gorgeous build and a drop comparable to a good hard rock or punk song - noisy and liberating. Sadly a lot of amateur and even some popular artists miss the point and create shitty modulated tracks with absolutely grating synths and weak builds. And that's laaaaame.

Personally it varies from song to song, sometimes the screaming suits the song perfectly. I understand where you are coming from though, for every song which sounds like that for a reason there are four that sound that way just because - tone matters and when that tone doesn't change it takes away the meaning.

I don't get why people enjoy dubstep, it just gives me a headache.

In a club when you're blind drunk it's epic. I wouldn't sit at home and listen to it though.

I had to sell my ticket to pay for my travel arrangements last month. Next time something big comes through I plan on going and I'll do my best to look you up.

That sucks man, I remember you telling me you were psyched about buying those tickets.

I guess you could say it wubs you the wrong way

how long have you been waiting to make that joke?

Not even sure I know what dubstep is.
Consider yourself lucky, it's the only thing anyone up here listens to. That and rap.

So, when you have no idea what's going on, it's great. No wonder it gives me a headache.
