The first thing I did when I joined is check that I had the NPC's names correct and their allignment.

I did too, but Kensworthy sounds nicer than Kensworth so it's an automatic thing I guess.

Is it just me, or do the names Truman Harrys and Leon Kensworth conjure up people in golfing clothes or pipe-smoking, sitting around the drawing room and discussing classic literature?

It's getting a little irritating to be honest with you. I mean, I'm fine with an RP coming in late as long as we are notified ahead of time about it. Now I do realize this time of year is fucking crazy for a lot of people, but proper communication can solve a lot of these problems.

Also, I left the boards open Monday and Tuesday night far past the actual deadline ending to give everyone extra time to get their RP's in that hadn't done so already.

Also, just to note, Lee was given an extension because his computer's been bust, so he didn't no show, he wrote and lost TWO RPs during this.

But still disappointed about the number of no shows. We'll definitely aim to ammend some parts me thinks

You should have Excellency pin the other two guys at the same time in the Deadwood match, causing them to both be released. And then you should fire Excellency anyway for delivering such a half-assed RP.

in an earlier fed I was in there was a rule that you had to do 1 RP by wednsday you either loose the match or if you RP'd on that day you lost judging points. the card went up on sunday. it was effective because a lot of the RP'ers were OOC ****es. who waited to the last minute to RP...it was also a no-nonsense fed where if you weren't dedicated to RP'ing you were fired anyway.

I don't think a "firing frenzy" is needed. All it'll do is scare the regular talent, and we'll end up with rushed RPs. The system in place works, but it's not severe enough.

I'm all for 1 no-show resulting in a loss/job and warning, and then the 2nd resulting in being fired, and not being able to reapply until after the next PPV.

Agreed, the system we have in place has worked fine so far, and like I said earlier this is a crazy time of year for a lot of people. What I would like to see though is if someone will be busy for a couple weeks and can't RP, let us know we can schedule some time off for that character, maybe just some backstage vignettes, something of that nature. But again, simple communication does wonders for solving problems of this nature.
