I have transition lens glasses, discovered how they can fool you today. I was pumping gas into my work truck while half standing in the sunlight. After I had 55$ pumped I walked into the store to pay when I noticed half of one of my lens was shaded in a diagonal pattern. I was flabbergasted. I thought my lens were broke and went around the store holding my glasses to bright light sources. But I soon realised what happened.

Maybe its because you live in a more urbanish area, but I always pictured Oregon as a nice peaceful and progressive place....well until that whole militia standoff and that show on History Channel about Pacific Northwest loggers where they are all mad all the time because they have to do manual labor because most of them barely passed high school.
That was kinda dickish of me to say, but I stand by it.
Anyway, indy shows can be a real hoot if the guys in the ring are trying to have fun so I hope you have a fun time.

Did you know Gangrel did porn once....completely in character? I think he still directs alt porn, but I think he is also born again so I'm not sure where that all lies on list of what is allowed now. Weird guy he is.

This is true. I regularly go to NEW around here and usually the first couple matches can drag on and be boring but after that the shows get really fun. It helps that they usually get a couple big names at least and the non big names are guys that you can tell wanna put on a good show though.

I saw Chuck Taylor vs. Joey Ryan, it was probably the best non WWE match I've seen in person. I saw Samoa Joe vs. Reigns at Raw once, that was a very good match, especially since Joe won with the Clutch.
I saw Rikishi in a tag match with three local guys and he was so overweight and old he couldn't take any bump other than a low blow to break up a stink face. I love when local guys beat the bigger name guys though, its always a good pop. Like this one time, Buff Bagwell was wrestling a local guy, and like yeah Buff was never the biggest deal, but he lost to the local guy after a swinging neckbreaker. I was so not expecting that move to get the win that I sent a text during the pin and actually missed it. The guy ran into the crowd and acted like he just upset Cena for a world title, it was beautiful.

That sounds like it'd be a really fun match. I never have luck seeing good matches at WWE shows but I saw JT Dunn vs Keith Lee at NEW earlier this year and it was fantastic. I had heard a lot about both but never seen them before hand, I left as a big fan of both.
The only old guys I see at shows often are Lawler and Sgt. Slaughter, Slaughter is at the point of just doing the bare minimum (hot tag, some punches, cobra clutch) but I'm surprised he even wrestles still. I always get annoyed because Lawler wins ALL THE TIME over these local guys. I believe the only people to beat him at this company are Cody Rhodes (who's the champ there) and this guy Brian Anthony who's probably their biggest star out of the local guys and he had to cheat to beat him. But I jumped up cheering when he did because I totally didn't expect it and I can't stand Lawler, and Anthony is a favorite of mine there.
