WZCW Discussion Thread

I had that same question.

And I forget who told me (I think it was Dave) but they apparently weren't kidding when they said the only matches outside the Lottery itself were title matches. Makes me even more happy to be apart of one

Already did.

I'm liking it so far. I'm hoping it'll net me my first championship that wasn't vacated previously.

Man we got fucking snow here already today. Enough to coat the ground and actually stick.

Tomorrow it's going to be 70 degrees out.

I'm as close to being cold-blooded as a human being can get. When it's cold I am always the first to freeze. I recall one year having 7 coats on when it was 30 degrees and was still miserably freezing. If I were a Final Fantasy character, Blizzaga would be my weakness. Plus I cannot drive in snow so there's that too.

Room temperature is the best with partly cloudy weather. Great for walks or for sitting on the porch.

It's really not that hard to drive in snow. Reduce your speed slightly, keep the wheel steady, don't overreact or over correct, if you're driving on a road traveled by others keep your tires in the tracks to improve traction.

Really though the amount of snow you guys would get wouldn't even be a normal day for me. I don't even blink at 3 inches of snow in the forecast. So it's something I deal with every year, thus a ton more experience. I've driven through more snow storms and blizzards than I care to count for.

Black ice on the other hand, fuck black ice. That shit is scary if you hit that because you don't have a clue that it's even there until your car is sliding clear down the road after hitting your breaks. Caused me to fly past a highway intersection once because some jackass had his brights on his truck.

I'm the opposite. I'm that one crazy guy that you'll see outside in shorts and a light jacket or sweeter when it's 30 degrees outside. I don't tend to wear double layers until it gets down to the single digits.

That was me as a kid, oddly enough. In gradeschool I wanted to wear shorts all year long. I am unable to pinpoint where exactly the change occurred, somewhere during my teenage years, I just couldn't handle the cold anymore. Been miserable in winter ever since. And every year up until last year it got worse and worse in terms of how much of a struggle cold weather is for me. Last year wasn't so bad but we had a really short winter here, 1 month if that, last year here.

I live in Dubai. It has rained three times since August 2015, and I'm told that is "a lot more than usual". The kids get a day off school when it rains here.

Sound like here when it snows.

A couple years ago it snowed maybe an inch and the entire city of Salem basically shut down.

Here in P.E.I Canada we get some bad winters. I've driven in some of the worst blizzard conditions you could imagine. Snow white outs with visibility about a foot away from your front bumper, crashing through freshly made snow drifts in front of your car and you have to gun it or you'll get stuck in the middle of the road. I carry a shovel in my truck in the winter because I've been that guy, stuck in the middle or side of the road.

As for hurricanes, about 99.5 percent of the time, we get the tail end of a hurricane as its in the death stages and only get 60mph winds off of it. A few years ago we got 100 mph winds that caused alot of damage and that was the worst I've seen.

I couldn't image anything over 100 mph as those winds were scary enough as you could hear it stressing the roof of the house. It sent a few tiles flying too. 200 mph would be absolutely terrifying.
