Oh God. I bought DKR when my friend moved in because he had an N64 (with Mario Kart) because I loved both games.

I returned DKR two days after I bought it. I can't believe how much it lacked versus Mario Kart.

If you don't want to be highly disappointed again, don't even go near snowboard kids.

I was playing Diddy Kong Racing the other day trying to unlock that bastard. One of the hardest things to do in video gaming history.

I remember when I did, I was in 6th grade at the time and I unlocked him after midnight on a schoolnight, I called a classmate to brag about it despite how late it was.

If the writer of Eve Taylor deems it acceptable, I was going to have a game this round, of guess the RP'er. Person who guesses the writer, wins feedback this round!

(The writer of Eve Taylor may feel free to tell me this is acceptable in any way possible... Rep always is a good way to send a message to someone...)

If I win would it be for next round since we are opponents this time? I'll agree with the two who said FalKon. He's been around the section a lot for someone who isn't otherwise RP'ing.

I was actually thinking more 1080 Snowboarding.

Or hunting down the WCW/WWE games by THQ.

No Mercy 64 is still the best wrestling game ever, period. I used to run a fictional fed on it for my own entertainment for awhile, but I barely have time to do it nowadays.

Yeah, No Mercy was the best.

I actually, through the length of the THQ games, developed a few of my fighting game characters that are sitting in a game document at the moment.

There's some mechanics in some of those games that I wished had traveled over to Smackdown and such. I loved AKI Man's ground and pound submission.

My parents got me an N64 for Christmas and one of the games they got was WCW/nWo Revenge (I think?). I haven't messed with it to see if it's the same one, but I remember playing the shit out of one of the WCW video games on N64 when I was younger

It's either that or World Tour. Both were fun, but lacked the polish that No Mercy had. The same can be said about Wrestlemania 2000 as well as it was the direct precursor to No Mercy.

Maybe I'll try and find No Mercy the next time I'm at the game store I know with N64 games. I've heard nothing but good things

It's awesome. You can either take a created superstar or existing one and venture through different paths involving the various titles in the company. The best part about it is that stories branch out whether you win or lose. There are a few times where you must win, but most of the time the story will adjust to whether you pass or fail a match. It creates quite a few scenarios for each of the title paths. Then, after you beat it, you can go back and play as the defending champion for an even different path. Add that with a shop where you can buy unlockables, and the amount of custom characters that can be made, and you have a fantastic game with great replay value.

Edit* Oh, and the gameplay mechanics are pretty good too. :)

I loved it when they started introducing more in-depth create an entrance stuff.

I wish the N64 games (if I remember right) had started getting into create-a-finisher.

I shall guess Falkon as well. I've learned to never trust that sneaky ********.

This sounds fantastic!

This talk of Power Rangers is making me laugh, mostly due to the fact that lil bitch Kid calling the mods that is one of the most hilarious things I have read on here in years.
