Banks does say that Blade and Krypto were entered in a qualifier match, although it could have been changed.

What is definitely missing is mention of how Beard got into KFAD, although I assume it is due to being the beaten finalist in Gold Rush.

I think it's Blade and Beard, otherwise it would defeat the purpose of a qualifier. Though Krypto could still qualify by other means, but I haven't seen them mentioned.

It really depends on what you want.

Do you want it tied to the gimmick name so that his "real" surname is something like "Runner"?

Is it something obviously Irish but not too Irish (complete with an in-joke)? Len Brennan?

It is something silly, sectarian or racist that Blade had to get away from? Jack O'Bama, Seamus McFenian, Liam McProdhater?

Or do you just want something catchy that you could eventually use in a gimmick change, even if it is already the name of someone? Inigo Jones?
