Well, we could talk about Thor while we wait for the show to get posted. I just got back from watching it. Amazing movie.

Better than the first. Hiddleston was hands down the best part, no need for a third though.

I'd watch the 3rd if they did one. Thor is my favorite of the Avengers members. If this one makes enough money then they might. I liked the first one a lot as well but this one was infinitely better. The Mrs and my mother in law who watched it with me both agreed.

As of now they have no plans for another which I feel is the right move, after Avengers 2 they're branching away from just Iron Man, Captain America, Thor solo films which is good considering after The Winter Soldier they might have done all they can do with them to be interesting by themselves.

It was indeed pretty awesome. It somehow manages to be scarier and more harrowing than any horror movie I've ever seen.

It was not that long ago I was moaning about a lack of originality in Sci-Fi movies. The way Cuaron used solitude and the way the story progresses as an allegory for grief was not something I was expecting.

Holy shit it is good

Right, there hasn't been an interesting Sci-Fi film since Inception, which is also pretty awesome.

But yeah, wow. That scene with the Chinese guy over the radio. Give that scene an Oscar.

13 hours of overtime put in this week, went to Rob Zombie and Korn concert last night and somehow drank and slept in between. I'm exhausted.

Went to a Depeche Mode concert on Thursday. Despite only knowing two of their songs, I enjoyed it. Got a Queens of the Stone Age gig next Monday with a visit to the Christmas market and its beer and food halls beforehand. Really looking forward to that.

Absolutely ragin'. The QOTSA gig in Dublin was sold out by the time I got some money together for it.

Went to the Seahawks game last Sunday, saw my buddy make his pro boxing debut yesterday, and watched the Seahawks win today while at work.

Yep, it was a good week.

How good are they live? I'm going to a major festival in February and they are apart of the line-up.

Zombie, Korn, or both?

Korn was surprisingly very good. I've never been a big fan of theirs but they put on a great show. Zombie wad alright. Hit all the famous songs, just felt like something was just a bit lacking however.

I went for free other than driving. My friend bought the tickets but due to his DUI he has no license at the moment. So can't complain about a free concert.

My ex-girlfriend dragged me to YouMeAtSix even though I didn't have to pay for the ticket. I think complaining about a free concert is justified sometimes.

Although, I won't go to another gig for a while. Seeing Biffy headline at Reading meant no other show will ever be good enough.

Fans of Scottish alt-rock and/or huge British festivals know what's up.

I haven't been to a show in years. Last one was either Lamb of God or Dead Kennedys, can't remember. Although I did have tickets for Danzig and Doyle but he canceled because of a sickness, but in reality the Misfits were playing nearby on the same night so I think it was more because if that than anything.

Man that sucks having to go see You Me At Six...

I was at Reading in 2010 when The Libertines headlined that was an absolutely mental weekend. Biffy were on the main stage that year before QOTSA and Guns N Roses and smoked both of them for my money. That weekend just about pips the post of seeing hundreds of bottles flying towards 50 Cent at Leeds Festival in 2004, which was pretty funny to be apart of.

Plus I have the added bonus of living on the Isle of Wight so I have two festivals pretty much right on my doorsteep, with the Isle of Wight Festival and Bestival and we've had some huge acts here over the past 10 years. (Including Biffy)

Awesome, that's what I needed to hear. Zombie is more of a "if the other eight stages havent got anything else on thats good, I will see them" whereas Korn is a priority. Although, if they are clashing with 5FDP, Motionless in White or Amon Amarth, forget it.

A Korn/Amon Amarth mash up sounds okay to me. One of my favorite bands from when I was 10 and one of my favorite bands now. Of course it would have to be mandatory for Korn to play some of their classics.

So it says Blade and I are automatically entered into KFAD, but after the match it says Blade is the second to qualify after Beard. Just wondering to clear up some confusion on my part.
