Not a even one win this past cycle. Not just Kingdom Come but the entire cycle and he's going for the title ranked just below the World Championship. That is crazy to me.
Welcome to pro wrestling, where the only wins that truly 100% matter are in championship matches.
Yeah, and CM Punk lost to Brock Lesnar, got pinned by Paul Heyman, and will likely lose to Ryback at some point. But he's a star who's been consistently good for 2 years, so he'll be back in the title picture in 6 months with a snap of his fingers.

Likely because KO just needed a challenger and other deserving people are doing other things, Kermit will retain so its no big deal anyway. It is pretty perplexing though.

Not that perplexing my green friend. You hit the nail on the head. Chris needed a challenger from someone who got knocked out of the tournament in the first round. Howard came off a great showing at KC. Feud booked. In a competitive fed you can't always book everyone so strongly every round. Thus is the fun and curse of such a system.

Oh I get that, I realize of the people knocked out in the first round Howard only makes sense. Just a bit hard to look past you when Howard hasn't had the best cycle

Howard was already being set up to face KO before I beat him though.
That would surprise the hell out of me.
Just take the tag titles already.

I demand that this does not happen. Certainly not yet anyway.
Right now, it would just be another case of "tag team with gimmick wins a couple of matches and then gets tag titles" - the same problem that has dogged the tag division for long periods.
Give the Dragones a chance to build their team up and perhaps even have a feud with another team and drag that team with them up the tag division.

To be fair, they are sort of having a feud with TSA. It's been tied in with Drake's, so it's gotten a little overshadowed. But I do think a feud that focuses on Amber Warren (we still know very little about her) would be a good next stop.

For what it's worth my Feud with KO has been on the table for months and the current program would be happening if the Eurasian Title was in either of our hands or not.
While I understand some people's concerns that I have not had the best cycle I would point out that in Kayfabe terms (which is how any feud SHOULD be measured) Howard's loss to Hunter was far from clean and this week ended with Howard being DQed.
My RPs this cycle have not been as good as I would have liked but Ricky Runn caught (I think most) people off guard. I was ill and had about 40 minutes to write my RP against Hunter and my RP for KO was all about the larger storyline. Eveything will pay off at Redemption.

Part of me wants an actual feud but at the same time, I don't know if I ever have enough to say about someone for it to work.
Plus I'm still trying to talk IHW into returning and there's an instant feud there.

I've been in two lengthy feuds in my time and I find that you don't have to talk about the person you are feuding with at length every RP. When Strikeforce and Saxoteur spent most of last summer trading wins in the tag division I would find interesting ways to mention them and keep them relevant in my RPs, but not make them the focal point. In one RP(I believe it was against a random pairing team) Mikey was at his apartment eating breakfast when a commercial for Saxton and Saboteur action figures came on TV.

See, I find it fun to tie my opponent and Kurtesy into an overarching theme. The only person I really struggled with is Tastic to do that. Everyone else came off rather naturally. But that's part of the blessing of feuding with someone like that.
