I'd have my sights set on the World Title, or Elite X title. Even a shot at the EurAsian title would miildly annoy me at this point... (no offense Miko),

Miko has the Elite X bro. Also, I think you have tiers of the titles mixed-up. In terms of singles it usually goes World, EuAsian, Elite X, and then Mayhem. However, there have been a few holders that have temporarily shifted the balance or evened it out (S.H.I.T. is a good example). But in terms of consistency the EA is usually contested by "higher" talent.

Don't know why I got Miko & KO's titles twisted up... honest mistake.

As for the tiers/reputation of the titles, that's funny... because I totally view the Elite X title as more prestigious than the EurAsian... but maybe that's because I hold Sam Smith with such high regard and he was the main man holding that strap since I've been around. Rush' unfortunate fade into obscurity has made me view the Elite X as more valuable to me than the EurAsian. I'm genuinely amused at being blatantly wrong about the title's rankings, though.

So it's, World... Mayhem... EurAsian... Elite X?

I kid, I kid...I know my place.

It's not always so finite, but consistency yes. I always look back to KC last year as a prime example. The EA title was in a match involving Showtime, Barbosa, and Black Dragon. The Elite X was contested between the up-and-comer Triple X and Johnny Scumm.

Rush did kind of fade, but I think most would agree that he had the packaging and skills for the main-event far before Smith ever did. That is not a knock at Crock at all because I think we could all buy into him getting a WHC title shot now, but Rush was basically ready even before he had the EA title.

Edit* Also, I think you have a lot of ground to stand on when you talk about raising the prestige of the Mayhem Title. You've definitely brought it up a few pegs, just as Bowen did with his reign.

Because I'm not writing 8 RPs, including Reynolds.

Plus three are parodies of WZCW characters. The one I've settled on is a loose interpretation of a character that was here until recently.

One of my All-Stars characters is a WZCW parody too. I hope it's not the same guy.

I'm not so sure you'll get a title shot right away, or if that's even the best option for Vega. You've done the title thing for a while, it might be time for Vega to have a good old fashioned feud where nothing but pride is on the line.

The Blade, Black Dragon and Rush EurAsian title reigns > Steven Holmes, Triple X and Sam Smith Elite X title reigns. Fact.

Although, with S.H.I.T and Chris K.O. as champions, I'd say the titles are about even.

Actually, I know how I feel about it; I hate it. I don't hate the writing, because it's all well written. I don't even hate the story, it's pretty common but well done here. But I do hate how your RP basically just says, "it's all bullshit". I'm not the kind of guy that says breaking kayfabe kills the business, don't get me wrong. But when in segments, characters like:
A person who thinks he's a robot.
A person who thinks he's an alien
Probably why I'm most pissed, a rhyming doctor who's here I purge the company of mental disorders.

All exist and thrive, both in the ring and backstage... You see why I disliked this so much? I can't feud with this character, and neither could many of the weirder characters, if the angle is that this is all not real, and we're nothing like the characters we portray in ring. And yes, I get that it's a different fed, but I don't think the light switch clicks the moment you enter WZCW, and it becomes real.

Slightly late, but I disagree with this sentiment almost entirely.

In a way I used to share your emotion, except my distaste always got turned towards the people running the more ridiculous characters - though for almost exactly the same reason.

Someone trying to tell a believable story grounded in reality has what they are trying to do undermined just as much (actually considerably more - but whatever) by having to incorporate someone like S.H.I.T as S.H.I.T might by having to compete against somebody operating exclusively in the real world.
It's the same when I had to write roleplays against Celeste Crimson - I was trying to write a believable real world character, and in the real world decent grown men do not kick the ever loving shit out of women - so every match any of my characters ever completes in against her instantly becomes all about explaining away that discrepancy with reality. (my general recourse when I didn't want to do this was to just ignore me opponent all together, but for some reason you tend to get punished for doing that).

Of course the solution to this is to either ban all the women, robots, aliens and whatever the fuck else is competing these days - or to force everyone to operate in some inconsistent parallel dimension where realistic drama is impossible. Either way I think the fed ends up poorer for it.

Some opponents and some writing styles are going to clash with your character, I think that's just something everyone has to live with. Drama is good, but you're going to have to devote time to explaining away the idiosyncrasies of the wrestling business - it's not everyone else's responsibility to line up with your story. Similarly if you want to take a ridiculous concept and play it straight then more power to you, but it's not at all fair to expect everyone else to play it straight as well.

Just so you know, I've viewed your title reign as one of, if not, the top motivation for me to continue my reign... so, at least in my mind, you're no footnote. You're the reason it's happening.

Honestly, if I lost the Mayhem Title tomorrow... and next week I see me in a re-match for the title, I'd be a little annoyed. After 9 months of holding the low card title... why the hell do I want to win it back? To beat the low card all over again? I'd have my sights set on the World Title, or Elite X title. Even a shot at the EurAsian title would miildly annoy me at this point... (no offense Miko), but I'd still embrace it over a Mayhem Title re-match. The only way I'd out do my original title reign would be to hold it for a year... and unless creative would want to give me EurAsian, Elite X, or World Title shots while I still held the Mayhem Title, a second reign would do nothing for me. Perhaps it's a shame you weren't given a program for the EurAsian Title after the Mayhem reign, but I have no idea what the plans/storylines in 2011 were like so it's possible the title was already involved in a program.

Just figured I'd give my 2 cents since I'm almost literally the only guy that would be able to relate to Phats & his Mayhem title reign.

I've done nothing for that title now, when you beat me. I will be a footnote. You've got all the tallent in the fed. Lmao I couldn't even go up a division and get a win. Ever wonder why the only title I've ever won was the mayhem title? Its because I'm honestly a shit roleplayer. I like to cut promos, not tell storys. I'm no good at telling stories.

When you beat me, ill be a footnote in the division I tried to elevate. I'm done talking about it. I don't really care anymore.

I sympahise with anybody with a serious nature who has to deal with my character. Reasonable post above from Gelg, although I'd say Black Dragon could be as silly and as much of nuisance and lunatic as anybody.

I wish we had something here, damn I feel like I got hit with a brick. Fell off my bed asleep, and didn't even know. Woke up, now I'm walking like an old man

How dare you? Vega wants gold.

It's a contract battle royale; if you're RP is halfway
decent, you'll get the contract.
Isn't that a bit harsh, bro? At least two seasoned vets are in that match...
