WZCW Discussion Thread

If they have handlers with female characters willing to come here I'd love to see a 5th female in WZCW.

Plenty of female characters. However they all do the multi RP style which doesn't work at all with what we do in WZCW. I've seen their RP threads go for 30 posts but it might only be 400 words per posts.

I'm familiar with the style and actually went that direction for one of the rounds with her since we were put in a tag team that week, but I can't do it on a regular basis. I'm too stuck in my old ways of writing a 2000-3000 word RP and being done.

The multiple RP style to single RP style is easy to adjust to when you realize that you're writing for quality and not quantity. May take a round or two to get the hang of, but if the writer is sound then the transition would be natural.

Of course that work in your case too.

I just realized something from the CmPunker thread... you guys recall Downward Spiral right? Former G-Mod and WZCW Head Booker at one point. Yeah, he was 15 years old at time. Scary stuff.

I got a lovely piece of grey rep yesterday from CMPunker: "you talked to shield girl so I'm giving u red rep, she's and ugly bitch"

Having said that, let's shut up about him, since this is one of the last place he hasn't infected...

He's given me two pieces of what should be green rep, and one piece of what should be red rep.

So far i've been able to figure out Kyrpto, Izzy and Angel all came from the mentorship program...anybody else worth mention come from it?

I remember being upset when creative didn't include me in the program even though I was a rookie at the time as well. Looking back at it's colossal failure, perhaps they did me a favor... and it also probably did more for Krypto's character than it ever could for Vega.

I hope there's a LD for KG V and I hope you can join it.

He was 15 and was blown away when he first started watching King of the Hill. His RPs and match writing was being handed in late, due to him watching a marathon of the show. Til he disappeared he would constantly talk about it.

Gosh... I mean...

you can have as much talent as you like and you can turn out literary masterpieces, but... if you haven't LIVED a little, how do you capture something deeper of the human experience? Can anybody post a link to his stuff?

Oh, and I had car trouble today (again), so the feedback is still a work in progress...

Here's an early example of Spiral's against Everest. I worked a brief program teaming up with him when Celeste made a return in 2009.

I never really questioned it myself. He just kind of did. Me and Ace constantly picked on him for being so young, but he kept up with the two of us. He left with us to join MWE, was in Rated-X (for those that know the stable), and then just kinda stopped. I think it had mainly to do with school work. It was amicable, he didn't tell us to piss off or anything.

You remember Luther right? He was never a fed guy, but I think he was just 16 when I first joined the site. There's never really been a question of "hey this guy's young so he must be a shit poster" for most of the really young ones that were here.

People are just assuming CmPunker to be some little kid when he's likely an adult over 18 that just doesn't post very well.

Luther Hull? I'm guessing that's who you mean. It's all about who you want to be, not who you are.

A 16 wants to be more adult and more honest, he will. Likewise a 25 year old wants to be an ass, he will.

The problem I always had was talking to people so much in the forum and then like adding them on MSN, and THEN finding out their 16... I'm glad the name Hanson is only a band to me.
