I know Scotland's making progress with their independancy as well...
You say that, but the only thing they really have, economically speaking is oil and gas, both if which will be steadily phased out during our lifetime. An independent Scotland will be in worse shape than Greece within a few decades and that's ignoring the fact that Scotland costs more per-capita than it brings in (by between 10 and 12.5%, depending on who you listen to.) Worse than that though is that unlike Greece, Scotland won't be a member of the EU automatically since its national debt is too high for the entry criteria.
I don't hate Scotland, but the reason they're making huge steps towards independence is because if they get it, they're fucked and if they don't part of the referendum is that they can't do another one for a set amount of time.
In other words if I were a Scot (and I'm not) there is no way in blue hell I would vote for independence.
