Has WZCW ever done the thing where rivals about to head into a match challenge for the tag titles? Cena/Miz, Cena/Batista, Cena/Shawn style. It's overplayed in the WWE but could be fun here.

Actually it did happen, Anthony Michaels/NorCal were a team/rivalry that won the belts at the first Kingdom Come. It ended up killing the division and the belts got vacated again because of said feud, that was before the FHD won the belts.

Ah, yeah, Michaels/NorCal was just dying as I entered the fed, so I don't really get to see that. Fun fact: NorCal once beat the shit out of Drake backstage, for no good reason I can remember.

Ah, well. I think it could be a fun idea if pulled off right but it's probably better served for a time when the tag division is weaker, while it's pretty strong now.
