WZCW Discussion Thread

Further update....

If we don't get the matches by tomorrow, then I will write them. Heck, I'd write them right now, but I need to write the last paper of my undergraduate college career.

*waits for applause*

But note: Show WILL BE UP no later than Tomorrow night/early Wednesday morning. In the meantime, enjoy RAW tonight, and make fun of Wes and Justin for their inferior Kennedy push comments in the Live Discussion thread. Go Regal!

In cases of emergency in the future, and I'm not saying that this is an emergency, I would be willing to write a match. If you need a sample of my work in the past just ask.

Yes, Brummett. I told you that. The card will be up soon after the show.

Guys, we are just waiting on one match from Gus, and then the show will be up.....Let me tell you this guys.....this show is going to be worth the wait. It is PHENOMENAL. I repeat.....PHENOMENAL. You will not be disappointed.

Hope I get added to the roster, so I can go at it soon... maybe debut against S_E_M's character. Or is there something I need to fix up on my profile?

OK, everyone approved by us is now on the main roster page found HERE. If you are not on the list, don't worry it doesn't mean you haven't been accepted, it just means we're still discussing your application.

Also, if you are an established superstar and you're not on the list, let me know so I can correct the oversight.

First off, BIG THANKS to all who wrote the show. Ricky, who wrote our World Title match in a day when Gus couldn't make the deadline, and David for doing the same with the Mayhem Title match. a0161613, a great match between the DevilSpawns and Aphelion's girls, and Myself for the Juggalo Grudge Match. A special thanks goes out to Will, who wrote our titanic Lethal Lottery match that spanned two whole posts it was so big. Everyone came together for a brilliant show, everyone who roleplayed should be proud of their acomplishments.

Review of the matches themselves will be posted in the feedback thread, and the new Molten 10 will be posted sometime over the weekend, so make sure to look out for your superstar!

No worries, I enjoyed doing it. I hope i can do it regularly in the future.

Okay, here is my critique of the Lethal Lottery:

Positives first.

The Lethal Lottery match ( and the matches before it) were VERY well written and laid out. Will deserves a lot of credit. While i have objections with GM's part in the match (see below), i thought it told its' stories well.

Also, Maxx, Celeste and Aurelia and Gus all going over was was the right decision. The timing was right and the RPs were good enough to justify it.

I have to say that for me the most impressive thing about the Lethal Lottery match was the use of Manzo as a weapon of mass jobber destruction. It is only right that those who cannot be bothered to contribute are treated as platforms to build on for those who are.

And now the negatives...

I dont mean for this to be longer but it is just the way that it is going to be I'm afraid.

Everest not winning was a bad call. And through yet another screwy Dynasty ending too. Comparisons to HHH 2003-04 in my eyes are justified. Sad but true because the timing was perfect.

(Let me add that I guess creative have something in mind to do with Will vs Rios. I think Dynasty could have had a longer lifespan but i understand the decision to do the break up angle in time for their "Wrestlemania" PPV)

This is probably the bit that I am personally most annoyed at.

I know Grand Mystique looks like Rey but I can't believe how he has been used in the past couple of weeks. In the last Meltdown match, he was doing top rope leg drops etc and in the biggest WZCW match yet, he has two moves before he gets eliminated; a 619 and a hurracanrana!

It is not the way i was eliminated that is really getting on my tits here (though it does bug me) but I have to believe that my RP deserved a lot better than that!

It is hard to swallow that I honestly reckon GM got treated like a bit of a jobber here. I could understand if some sort of future program came out of it but nothing of the sort has happened here. As such, it feels to me (and i dont know how anyone else feels) that stories are being out in advance (which i approve of) regardless of the RP quality being submitted (which i do not like at all.)

So....

I am going to PM someone, probably Will, with a program to push the hell out of GM. Not that i believe he (I) is better than anyone else but simply due to the fact that he is probably the only character without a regular fued at the moment.

If it all goes to plan then it will give GM (and the opponent) something to go for until Kingdom Come (and maybe beyond).

FIRST can I just say this is only my view, not the view of all of creative.

No worries, I enjoyed doing it. I hope i can do it regularly in the future.

I agree with everything here, especially the references to Manzo as it really helped put him over even further as a dominant, unstoppable force. Gus and Maxx both deserve those titles, and Will did do a hell of alot of work with that match.

And now the negatives...

I must say a part of me agrees here, as Everest has put out exceedingly great Roleplays every shot he's had, and in many ways he should indeed be our World Champion. However, with that said many people have been looking for the evident break up of Dynasty for a while now, in order to free up not only the World Title but the rest of the Gold. I personally think Everest should of been World Champion previously, but heading into our 'wrestlemania' event, a possible Will vs Rios match might be even bigger. Who knows.

This is probably the bit that I am personally most annoyed at.

I'd be annoyed to if I was you. I agree that, looking at your moveset and character description, why you're bouncing off of turnbuckles and flying through the air is beyond me. I wouldn't be bothered so much about the quick elimination, it's essentially the royal rumble and hell a few years back MAVEN eliminated the undertaker with a dropkick to the back. Even the best have been dumped unceremoniously out of that match, but with that said your moves in that match again are nothing like the character you described. It does need changing.

So....

PM me. I'm back on creative and apart of the staff, and I'm more than happy to go through storylines and help fix the problems you're seeing with your character. I helped push Will when he first arrived if you need credentials of my creative ability :P but seriously, let me know what the probs are and what you would like to see, who you like the look of feuding with, etc and I'll do what I can to help you.

Same goes for everyone else.

In walks Joseph "The Main Event" Rios holding a freshly shined WZCW World Heavyweight Championship drapped on his shoulder. He looks around at all the haters in the room and smirks as he replies holding the title high in the air with one arm..

THE CHAMP IS STILL HERE!!

OOC: Honestly guys storylines were discussed with Everest and he knows the direction of the angle so I dont want anyone to think Everest was screwed. But to be honest isnt Rios what a heel is supposed to be? You all really hate him and hate to see him keep escaping with the title. Its like my subtitle says. Rios is The Heel John Cena! lol

There's right and wrong reasons to hate someone Enforcer :p But yes, storylines have been discussed, no-one is being screwed here, and Enforcer is indeed our Heel John Cena. At least he can do more than four moves, and isn't sleeping with the bosses daughter (although if Chuck had one, I wouldn't put it past him...)

Great Job guys. 100% on the show. Although if I had one complaint it would be that I keep getting put with guys who don't RP.

As a member of the team and as someone who worked his ass off as a member of the fed all i can say is this...............................THANK YOU!!!

I really appreciate the push that Maxx has been recieving, I cannot honestly believe that he has been held in such high regard at the ppv,

For the first part i want to see what the RIOS/MAXX Situation is here i really want to see what creative have planned, Secondly the fact that Maxx was part of the Final four in my view is a huge honor and something that i Really do appreciate as well as the Title win against one of the hardest people to beat in WZCW and i hold the win over Ricky in such high regard due to the fact that his was and still is one of my idols in this fed, he really showed me how to be creative and proud about my Rps and helped shape Maxx into a three dimensional chracter and come out into his own.

Thirdly I love the Maxx/Hasheem angle, even though the person who used to rp for hasheem is no longer here, it was thanks to him that i started becoming a better rper, his advice really pushed me along and braught me to the dance

Now My thoughts on the LL PPV

Alex/Jesse vs Milenko/Lapalme

I like this match but felt that the Milenko faction needs substance, its being filled with rpers who rarely rp or dont even show up at all, hopefully he will get someone with a bit more credibility in the stable (ala Perry Saturn in the flock), to help bring the story line over and give it the edge it needs

Everest/Rios

I was unhappy that Everest didnt win here, but again maybe creative has something planned, hopefully he will get his shot in time and when he does eventually win the big one he will cherish it more because it took soo long for him to get there

Tag Team match DS VS ???

I saw this one coming but still marked out for it, loved the storyline and want to see how this goes from here, i would love to see Reaper come out into his own as sustaining a tag team is a pretty hard job

Gus/Will

I loved this match more for the fact that Gus Worked his ass off, he did everything he could to get his shot and once it happened, he was able to sink in and get the win, congratulations buddy!

The LL MATCH

Well Worth the wait, loved the elimination couldnt believe i was in the final four, but believe me it was overall a great ppv, still felt bad for GM though as i felt that he is getting underused due to the fact that his character has loads more potential i would have loved to seen GM vs Jesse again a long feud that would have continued even after he became part of Milenkos faction

Thats My two Cents

Good Job Guys

SITE UPDATE: - As you can see I've been busy, I've streamlined and tidied up the site boards themselves. Everything moved has a redirect link on it that will stay for the next month, after which the link will go and you'll hopefully know where to find Dynasties locker room if you're that desperate to talk to them fools.

Next on my list are your characters. I'm going to go through every character and make sure you ALL follow the standard rules out there i.e No-one has a finisher as a normal move, no-one is saying how they were once TNA champion or King Of The Ring, people don't have pyro-filled entrances etc. Once I have compiled my list I will post it in a new thread for you all to tell me what you want moves replaced with and such.

I'm really looking forward to actually getting started on this. And you all did a great job on that show. I can only imagine just how much effort you put in to it and I respect your commitment

Here's all I have to say about people complaining about storylines...

If you want to be noticed, if you want your character to stand out and have direction....make it happen in RPs. If you have an idea of where you want your character to go, then PM one of us, and we'll be glad to talk about it. But you aren't going to get anywhere (at least with me) by posting in the discussion thread about your character not being used correctly or that you are tired of going against guys that don't RP. We've all been there, but you have to do quality RPs anyway. Your RPs have nothing to do with your opponent RPing. Your RP is where YOUR creativity is expressed and your character is developed. There is far less character development in the matches temselves.

If you want to be noticed, then RP your pants off. If you make me say, "wow, that's a freaking awesome RP," then you'll be in good shape. But that's how you are going to prove to me that you deserve being pushed to the moon.

*this is my view, not necessarily the rest of creative*

I have to say that for me the most impressive thing about the Lethal Lottery match was the use of Manzo as a weapon of mass jobber destruction. It is only right that those who cannot be bothered to contribute are treated as platforms to build on for those who are.

I did contribute and rp, so I don't see how I am a jobber who can't be bothered with participating in the fed.

I think he meant in a general sense Mur. Not really directed towards you.

But in regards to what Ricky said, you guys are allowed to have your opinions we want you guys to have them trust me. Its just a way of conveying (sp?) them. If you feel that your character is being written a certain way wrestling move wise that he shouldnt then let us know and we will make the change. But if you want a push then keep showing it to us by making great RP's like you guys have been. Just keep up the good work

sorry i couldnt write the match, my internet like stopped working, the charter guys came out andfixed it today, so im sorry my internet company is incompetant, lol , but in all seriousness, im sooo sorry
