The pre-show match for Survivor Series 2012 has been announced.... Here's the article from WWE.com followed by my thoughts on the match:
This should be a fun way to start off the night. I really am enjoying 3MB so far as a stable. I've been a fan of both Drew as well as Slater for years, and while Jinder's involvement does leave me scratching my head, this is a stable I have very much gotten behind. So then we have their opponents Tyson Kidd & Justin Gabriel. Kidd & Gabriel's jobs here will be to get the crowd excited before the real show begins. 3MB gets the win because they are needing the momentum as they go forward. I'm looking forward to the match and honestly wish it was on the main card.
DAGGER'S PREDICTION
3MB will defeat Tyson & Gabriel.

The WWE Universe’s favorite life-loving musical group, 3MB, will have the chance to solidify its place in WWE’s tag team hierarchy this Sunday in a bout against Tyson Kidd & Justin Gabriel on the free Survivor Series Pre-Show. The Pre-Show will stream live on WWE.com, Facebook.com/WWE and YouTube.com/WWE starting at 7:30 p.m. ET/4:30 p.m. PT, just before WWE’s fall classic.
Though it is not yet confirmed which two members will represent 3MB, the match will be significant for WWE’s stacked tag division regardless of which two-thirds of the air–guitar–shredding triumvirate shows up in ring gear. With WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No appearing as fragile as ever, all duos are looking to move up the ranks and try their hands at exploiting Kane & Daniel Bryan’s uneasy partnership. A win on the Survivor Series Pre-Show holds the potential to bump either 3MB or the unofficial “International Airstrike” up a few pegs.
The immensely talented Kidd & Gabriel each have been half of a tag team title tandem before, and together, they have danced around the periphery of WWE’s Tag Team Title scene for the better part of 2012. Each man logged impressive performances recently in singles competition: Kidd bested the towering Tensai in July and Gabriel upset U.S. Champion Antonio Cesaro in a non-title match. But despite this and their obvious tag team chemistry, the two international aerialists haven’t topped the tag division the way that many observers predicted.
Heath Slater, Drew McIntyre and the self-described “class clown” Jinder Mahal, meanwhile, have quickly built up steam since forming their alliance. The Slater/Mahal version of the designer–jean–clad band defeated perennial threats (and former United States Champions) Zack Ryder & Santino Marella in October. Though 3MB’s three-man structure would suggest an odd man out in the hunt for the WWE Tag Team Titles, past outfits such as The Fabulous Freebirds, Demolition and The Jersey Triad have proven three can survive, if not excel, in tag team divisions.
If Slater ends up an active participant Sunday, an intriguing dynamic beyond concerns of tag team rankings comes into play: familiarity. Slater and Gabriel won the WWE Tag Team Titles on three separate occasions between late 2010 and early 2011, so their knowledge of each other’s styles and tactics is vast. Even if the former “One-Man Band” doesn’t actually compete, Kidd & Gabriel can assume he will share with Mahal & McIntyre whatever knowledge he gleaned from his time teaming with Gabriel.
